This is such a magnificent work! the movement of the leaf with the flowers and butterflies, the fairy's delicate design and it's composition, everything is stunning. And the fact that it took 8 years to make this piece of art makes it absolutely priceless. If only I could have one of these I would never stop looking at it, it's so beautiful...it's just a wonderful dream
So she's depressed.. the flower opens to reveal the butterfly, her spirits are raised for a brief moment, but she looks down again. Then she looks up more, with more attention on the butterfly as it raises up, and it goes down again and is enclosed by the flower. Then she glances at the other flower, looking for something else interesting, nothing. She glances back at the closed flower where the butterfly once was, and looks back down again, depressed. Profoundly beautiful on many levels, genius.
Never mind about the price tag as others are ranting about. When you are enchanted, you enchanted others around you. If I could try anything in my life time, I wish I could have conceive and build something like that.

A jewel like this, the workmanship, the artistry, is not from this era. I am ,enchanted. To the artists, the craftsmen i applaud. I thought this was all lost. KUDOS to all who created art.
I do hope that all the craftsmen and women were paid well for this project , working jewellers don't usually get very high salaries. The designers do . Beautiful piece of fantasy 💞

The first time I saw this. I cried. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life. Truly a work of art that touches one deep inside. Even if it didn't have real jewels in it; it is still the most beautiful work of art I have ever seen. I would have to watch this many times a day. Who did this are great artist. This should be in a museum for everyone to see what masters of such a craft can do. A testimony to the human spirit.
