A blend of tradition and modernity, The Bouton d'or collection's style has its origins in the Paillette motif, which first appeared in the Maison's archives in 1939. During the 1940s, this precious pastille of yellow gold was revealed in various interpretations. Gathered together into a rounded ring or the strands of an opulent double necklace, the motifs also formed sparkling bouquets. #VCAboutondor

I was actually once very much against a lot of what modern VC&A put forward because it was just not the high standard I expected from what a house like this should be releasing but after delving into their history I understand what the appear to VC&A is and what they represent and its beautiful. These videos are absolutely stunning and I would love to see a lot more!
