I am so annoyed about the hammered gold pieces not being available. I have been trying since October 2023 and the list has not opened. I am starting to accept that I will never own a 10 motif hammered.
@@SibyllaMirage I do love MOP and I have the earring and vintage pendant but every time I think of buying the 10 motif I can’t pull the trigger. Something inside of me keeps stopping me because it’s too expensive for such an inexpensive stone and I don’t think it’s practical for everyday wear and will sit in my jewelry box accumulating dust. I am much better off with gold at this price point.
I have the love hoops in the largest size. Every time I think of selling them and I take them out, I change my mind and start wearing them again. They elevate even my night suit! They are simple yet so bold and elegant.
i have zero attachment or sentimental value to anything so i constantly buy and sell jewelry, even my wedding and engagement ring have been changed multiple times now 🤣 its so fun to upgrade and try other stuff and not waste money trying to keep them all and not wear them 💕
After having my husband's wedding band checked and cleaned, the jeweler wanted to keep it for a few more days because he saw some dirt behind the diamonds that didn't come out. I said no because it was already much better. I soaked it overnight, but dirt was there. He took his water flosser and gave it a go. The last of the dirt was gone. Maybe a water flosser would work for you too.
The best “long term” purchase is the gold colour you like the most and will actually wear 💗 I love the look of rose gold but with my fair olive skin tone I find it makes me look ill 😅
I have been wanting a 10 necklace forever but I cannot decide . I have narrowed it down to a black or blue agate. Which would you get? I want to wear it a lot and usually I don't wear colour but the black just seems so basic. Thoughts. I want a choker necklace ..also love the Tiffany knot choker and the Cartier clash is my dream
Such an interesting video! I myself only recently started my jewelry collection with one white gold Alhambra necklace and a yellow gold Cartier JUC ring, also I tried on rose gold Cartier Love earrings and they sadly look horrible with my skin tone even tho I would describe my skin as pale in winter but I could tan in summer, but I'm more on the pale side
I feel you! I bought the MOP in yellow. Never wear it. Just doesn’t match my skin tone! I wish yours did. I would buy them from you! What a great deal.
Thanks for the skin tone info I didn’t know about the blue vs green vein I wish I knew this earlier I have spent years trying to figure out my actual tone. Always love listening to you! All your choices are beautiful but I think if you go with the yellow cartier earrings you may sell them in the future. What about the yg guilloche earrings to match your set? I love the hammered rose gold. I had the 10 motif and regret selling it, rg hammered is so elegant the tone is beautiful.
I’ve been eyeing some of the carnelian pieces, but I want to see it in person first. The Atlanta boutique is inside Neiman Marcus, and there are the velvet ropes with a sign…not at all welcoming. Another brand is getting my business instead.
Thank you for the video and the insights on jewelry & skin undertones! I've already wasted thousands of dollars on white gold when I came to the realization that yellow gold looks the best on me, so now I've been curating my collection for a while and still in process. You've asked for opinions about yellow gold Cartier hoops and I think you should probably not get them. First of all, because you love rose gold on you. Second, I don't think they look great with the Alhambra line. In my opinion, thick love hoops have the same vibe as the thick love bracelet which is more bold and masculine whereas Alhambra is more feminine. I don't love the two together, but that's obviously subjective. I understand you need the earrings for your pave Alhambra, and if I may offer you a suggestion instead of purchasing yellow gold earrings that don't look great on you. Why don't you sell your yellow gold Alhambra and repurchase it in pave rose gold. The money you will lose on the sale will probably still be less than the price of these yellow gold earrings. You already own rose gold vintage Alhambra earrings and they would make a perfect pairing with the rose gold pave Alhambra. So whatever money you will waste on selling and repurchasing the necklace you will save by not purchasing new yellow gold earrings. And you'll end up with the jewelry in your preferred gold color, rather than settling for a non ideal color and adding more non ideal items to it to make it work.
You're welcome and thank you for advice. This is very interesting, I definitely need to think about it :) I hope you curate your perfect collection soon!!!
@@SibyllaMirage I wanted to add that your rose gold vintage alhambra earrings look stunning on you!! Really really beautiful, they make your skin glow and eyes sparkle❤️
