This is golden. I want to do the same project with the exact same requirements. I also have zero experience so can’t wait to watch the whole series. Brilliant
Excited to follow this. I have watched all the other videos multiple times. I've bought the dodo products which are sitting in my hall for 15 months as i didn't have the confidence to start . Will follow along. Struggling to take internal panel trims off. There is no ply lining
This is great! My husband is teaching me how to restore a 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I think everything is taking 3 times longer, but it's great learning. He's posting our journey on DrawntoRebuild on RU-vid.
Hi Leigh really looking forward to seeing this build. We have a lwb t6.1 as you know .we have swivel front seats and a 40 winks queen size full width bed . I removed our 3 independent rear seats as its only myself and paula that use the van .we had a nice cabinet built in the van that takes the place of the rear seats. We have a soft rubber mat that is attached to the top but enables us to access the fridge freezer and a utility cabinet on the other side of the van . We have two swing out tables, plus the usual off grid electrics and solar panels. Sound deadened and insulated interior is a must place a decent diesel heater . We have Lazer lamps in the grill ,a front 52 in LED roof bar lamp plus rear mounted Lazer utility 25 lamps fitted to the rear of the van to add reversing at night plus it flood lights the area behind the van at night. We have built a swamper style van so the Bilsten b6 comfort suspension with eibach 35mm lift kit springs and shocks was a must plus the fuel colverts alloy wheels with 245 65 17 BF GOODRIDGE K02S TYRES. We know have a bravo snorkel fitted plus a full size spare wheel carrier and ladder fitted to our van .and to really make it turn heads is our full length reflective graphics. It's crazy what you can do to a transporter and it's my 1st ever volkswagan and very 1st ever camper ,and we couldn't be happier with our choice of vehicle. Looking forward to seeing Dom and yourself at campers and coffee next month 🤟👍
That’s quite the spec dude! It’s always been and impressive vehicle, ever since the first time I saw it! Thanks for coming along the build journey with us!
