stylistically he is the best; very elegant martial artist. Just beautiful to watch him, especially in his younger days in such movies like Blood Sport.
I loved the Jean-Claude Van-Johnson series...was sad it didn't fine enough of an audience to keep going. It was a brilliant mix of action, parody & fun
The pilot episode was fantastic. It took them a year and a half to come out with the rest and by then it lost steam. Also, the other episodes just weren’t the same.
It's making fun of him and his movies more specifically. Van Damme didn't start as a martial artist. And as you can see he's only limber and moveable with his legs. That's why he always needed room when he fought. Grew up on jcvd. And love that he's laughing at himself.
If I remember correctly earlier in the show someone criticized him because today people would not buy that 90s stuff of people attacking him one after the other but wanted real fights where all attack at once. And then this situation takes place during his real mission. It was a great way to parody yet honor the old fight movies.
That's who Johnny Cage was modelled off, specifically his outfit in Bloodsport (tight shorts and sash). They asked him to do it in Mortal Kombat 1, but he turned it down.
Hell naw. How dare disrespect Jean Claude van Damme like that. Saying he should play johnny cage. Johnny cage got killed by goro. In real life my Pops would kick goros ass
@@trackandfieldarchive The irony of this is that he ended up starring in Street Fighter (1994), which was a complete flop, and then the next year Linden Ashby played Johnny Cage in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film, and that movie went on to become the most successful video game adaptation for many years.
@@Carltoncellobassist dont use Hollywood movies as a place to look for real things in life. Dragon the Bruce Lee story is a great movie. But its just a movie. 90% fiction. 😂👎
Ich bin immer wieder aufs neue fasziniert von Jean-Claudes Techniken. Der Mann ist einfach eine Legende. Mein Dank und mein Respekt an Dich, Jean-Claude, Du bist mein Held! 👍👍👍👍👍
THE MOST IMPRESSIVE KICKS WITH STYLE, ELEGANCE AND FAST , UNIQUE MOVES AND STYLE. THE BEST IS AND WILL BE. JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME GREETINGS FROM PUERTO RICO 🇵🇷
My favorite Van Damme movies of all times are death warrant and Lionheart Van Damme is the man he still has it no matter what he will always be a hero in my mind 💪💪
منذ أن كان عمري 10 سنوات والآن عمري 38 عام وأنا معجب ب المهارات القتالية لفاندام Since I was 10 years old and now I'm 38 years old and I admire the fighting skills of Van Dame.
Jean Cluade needs to be in the next MK as a Johnny Cage skin. Johnny Cage was literally based off of him in the first place and MK was originally supposed to be a Jean Claude Van Damme videogame before he had to drop out due to scheduling
I like JCVD when he plays the good guy, he's the prototype of Jason Statham and one of my role models😉 and the fimset scene reminds of the exploration of Bruce Lee at the producers office "Don't stop acting, you are a fucking genius" 😎👉🏼
I really love the way he fight. The position the bulit of his body the way he look at his enemy while showing his biceps and whe he kick back with triple cam shot supportwd qith boombastic sounds..he is so amazing.
