Your facial expressions with Eddie’s guitar are perfect. He definitely makes you listen carefully. He puts a lot into it! Thank you for reacting to this!
"Whoever was doin' that guitar in the background, man... It was... it... Listen, it was going on the whole song, okay?" Yes, it certainly was! Love the song, love her reaction. Cheers!
Omg, I can't believe someone finally reacted to this song!!! Van Halen has so many great songs, not only the big ones like Jump, Panama etc..This one is so incredible. Thank you!
Wow, I always thought you had played Van Halen on the channel before, just checked and this is your first. Soooo many good songs, one of the best guitarist of the time (also played the guitar solo on Michael jacksons beat it song). try 'Aint talking bout love', 'Running with the devil', 'Un-chained'. They were the ultimate party band!
I don’t know why I thought you’ve done more Van Halen. Girl, if you haven’t reacted to Eddie Van Halen, Eruption solo, live without a net version then you need to get on that immediately! All your questions will be answered! Don’t let the fact that it’s 13 min long concern you. Trust me it will be worth it.
He also played beat it on michael jacksons thriller he played the rhythm tracks and the solo in the middle check that out most people would be unknowing and surprised to know that nowadays .
I loved this riff from the first time I heard it when I got the record in 84 and still love playing it now. You can see she definitely got the groove and loves it. The end I'm not too sure what she's thinking because she probably never heard guitar playing like that. Go Eddie
Eddie van Halen is known for his unique rhythm and timing, as well as guitar sound. It's fair to say that a lot of 80s rock and metal was, at least in part, an attempt to play like he did. The closest I ever heard to his sound and style was from Vito Bratta of the 80s group White Lion.
This, JT, is the late fret master, Eddie Van Halen, IMO the G O A T when it comes to rock guitar. The band, oft referred to as the Mighty Van Halen, was a Pasadena Powerhouse who reignited the hard rock genre and set the stage for many acts to follow. Funny that you started with this lesser know banger. VH self-titled is a classic album and the first with David Lee Roth. They later parted ways with Roth in favor of Sammy Hager and continued to expand their catalogue and sell out arenas. I saw them in 1983 at the US festival with 300K fans. Fun Reaction!
Van Halen kills. They are right up there with the greatest in Rock. This is probably my favorite track off the "1984" album. Another is "I'll Wait." Please more VH!
Eddie Van Halen is considered one of the top guitarists ever..he and Jimi Hendrix changed rock in different ways, forever. His brother is the drummer. Running with the Devil is amazing, the 1st song off their 1st record..the album changed rock
Eddie's solo style was like "if you land the plane at some time in the future, meander all you want". No rules, just rock. Eddie made something that was just in his mind waiting to get out. It is not more complex than that but it is much more profound that most can comprehend.
Check "Outta Love Again" for some of the slickest drumming from AVH, "Mean Street" for one of EVH's signature killer guitar intros...there's a plethora of gems in their playing over the years. Fair Warning might be my favorite album of the bands, enjoy the trip down rock's fabulous past.
That, my friend, is Eddie the guitar god. Came out when I was a freshman and this one is still my favorite ever. Maybe they could have done better later but they booted David Lee Roth and went all Van Hagar after this.
One GOAT covering another GOAT... *Eddie Van Halen plays Hendrix* (uWzOcGERWLQ) Eddie Van Halen also played on Michael Jackson's "Beat It" and there are some videos with both of them performing it live.
It was 2 brothers that started the band. Alex and Eddie Alex being the older. The band started out with the name mammoth. Eddie Brown Sound. They came from across seas from Holland and their father was a well accomplished musician. I can tell you. Anything you would like to know?
Your reaction seems genuine- many channels doing them don’t . The fact that you dug the Greatest American Rock N Roll band (Aerosmith, a very close second!) - wins my respect !!
