@@leonskum.5682 For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is by far the best produced VH album. Andy Johns really brought out that Led Zeppelin sound in the rhythm section. Alex sounds like a beast and Mike can actually be heard on this one.
Vintage video just emerged of Eddie noodling on this riff in the mid-80s, almost 10 years prior to the song’s release. Man, I hope some of that studio material sees the light of day. I don’t care if It’s just Eddie brainstorming, incomplete demos, or whatever, I’ll still listen!
@@joebartlett3255 Wolfie has it all, but some of the music on those tapes belongs to Sammy Hagar and DLR. So it may be awhile for any release, due to those legal issues.
Also there are still 4 other band members alive 5 with Wolfgang. The good thing is they are all on talking terms so any release will be done right.VH4LIFE
@@joebartlett3255 I wish Wolfgang will hurry up and finish his debut. I heard one song 2 years ago, it was killer, reminded me of Alter Bridge. Apparently, he plays all parts, guitar, drums, bass, and vocals. Lucky for us, he got all the EVH musical genes.
Eddie geboren in Slotermeer Amsterdam W. Ik groeide op ook in Slotermeer, kwam naar California in de zelfde jaar als Eddie . Rest in Peace Indo brother 🙏
Sammy always has a good time. Hell Sammy was pushed to the the absolute boiling point during this period and still didn't want to leave the band and managed to have a mostly good time yet. Sammy just enjoys life and it takes a lot to bum him out lol
@@Oswald24x7 how the hell could u know what the problem is...???!!! U in the damn band???!!!!! Hell maybe we all will call u and start askin u what are personal problems are and how to fix them.well wait u already know answer rite?????
Yes there will be Nothing like this kind of music 🎶 anymore.... I grow up on Van Halen... The music know really sucks.... And this is the year 2021.... I remember the good times I’ve had going to see VH in concert when everyone had a great time... and we all got along with everyone no matter what color you where. Shit that was the time.... Wish I could go back in time around 1982... I was a kid and learning to play the Drums when I was 4 years of age... I’m a Master now.... Back in the day nobody cared about politics and who was the President but at that time we had the #1 President in the world May he Rest In Peace Ronald Reagan.
This is pretty bad ass. I saw a video today of Sammy being asked in 2009 if he missed his relationship with Eddie, he said if they saw each other then that they would have come to blows, I was surprised hearing that. He said they hit a real major bump in the road, in the end I'm glad they had the chance to talk, most of us didn't know that.
That's a good way of looking at it but in the end I prefer Dave. The only other original 4 that rocked me like VH in the 80's was the original 70'S KISS.
Wow... a visual documentary of the end of Van Halen. Things were never right again. No matter if you are Sam or Dave fan the public productivity went to zero, or nearly zero for the remaining 25yrs. So sad, powerhouse to outhouse.
Michael Schutten. Many people use the phrase RIP (Rest in Peace), when speaking of someone who has passed away. But the Bible tells us that those who do not know Christ has no peace. Rather, he has the wrath of God abiding on him. Jesus said, 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:35-36) So, from what you know about Eddie Van Halen's life, why do you think he is resting in peace? jesus-is-savior.com/Evils%20in%20America/Rock-n-Roll/deadend.htm
Told austin about grandmas next trip .., yeah amsterdam with max and molly and marjury hosa danni theres heaps off us 30 all together .... One of our best. Holidays ever
This was the video that MTV refused to air because of the song’s drug references. The band did alter some lyrics for an alternate edit-for instance, “Score me some Panama red” became “Score me some stuff for my head”-but MTV still refused to play it.
All I listened to in high school, I’m a blues player now but still have to listen to some Van Halen !!! I like every album no matter who’s singing, mainly because I love Eddie’s playing!!
I'm not a guitarist but my understanding is that by the early 90's Eddie had more or less outgrown his Frankenstrat and had switched to Ernie Ball guitars at this point. Either way, one can hear a distinct near perfection in his tone.
Glad to have witnessed this album in it's prime, with the members i'm most fond of when thinking Van Halen \m/_ _\m/ still have the shirt. R.I.P Eddie!
Depends on the day and the mood on which Van Halen I wanna hear more? Van Halen or Van Hagar? Both sides are great! But this "Balance" album has always been my favorite from Hagar. Just raw Rock n Roll!!
Watching this makes me wish they had reunited with Sammy for the final incarnation of the band instead of Dave. although I really can’t choose. Guess we’ll never see them again. Rip Edward. The greatest of all time.
When I bought the album and put on the cd player I tought..what a waste of money....then this tune came and I thought Oooooooook... thats what I paid for!!!!!!!
Not only should Michael Anthony come back to play bass and do his killah backup vocals; Sammy and DLR should both front the band. DLR should do his kung-fu jumps and kicks and rebel yells and weird stories and Sammy should SING - he's the better singer, DLR is the totally Unique Front Man of the greatest American hard rock/metal band of All Time. Truth - you couldn't fit all of those ego's inside Grand Canyon, it ain't nevah gonna happen. FACTS. But I have loved 'em all since I was playing guitar in my early teens in 1977. After all, a Dreamer's gotta Dream.
That's probably because of biased propaganda, because i'm Dutch and we're not all that different from the Germans, we just live a little bit more with ''Why so serious''. If you know what i mean.
I’m from Missouri had a job interview in California in 2014 the lady asked what do you like about California? I said Van Halen and motocross and surfing !! Lol
As much as we all love King Edward RiP -boss Van Halen was Al's band would not have been the same with any other drummer. Al loved his brother so much that their musical link connected on Ed's riffs and gave us the greatest band ever.
