Inna you MUST watch the video for “Panama”, from the same album. So much fun, and shows what Van Halen at that time in 1984 was like. Wow…that was such an amazing year to be 17 years old. I didn’t know then what I know now.
The title gave it away a bit indeed... :D ... like California girls (Van Halen version) this vieo was very popular on MTV in those days... of course I only watched them for the music.
Poor Alex Van Halen, the drummer and Eddie's brother. He had so much trouble dancing, and it was hilarious. Using the kids as their younger selves was a great idea, and they casted them perfectly. The jail cell is exactly what some detention halls felt like, so I'm told. LOL And of course, what can you say about Eddie's guitar solo other than outstanding.
Eddie Van Halen wrote and performed the incredible guitar solo in Michael Jackson's song "Beat it " after Michael had asked his friend Quincy Jones to get him the best guitarist in the world so Quincy called Eddie and asked Eddie to go to Michael's recording studio and help him with some guitar playing on one of his new songs so Eddie met with Michael Jackson and after reworking the song wrote an amazing solo that every person in the world heard a couple of thousand times that next year and the crazy thing is that Eddie didn't make a single penny from the song because he did it as a favor for a friend. It became one of the greatest guitar solos that has ever been in any song. You need to listen to Michael Jackson's "Beat it" and appreciate Eddie's greatness once again!!!
It took me 10 years to master the guitar intro for this song. Mind you, I am a decent enough guitarist but it proves how great his majesty Eddie Van Halen was. Start with the complicated techniques and in my case it was easy for I was trying to copy, the original came from him without reference, now that is the definition of greatness.
A little about Van Halen.. Eddie was a great guitar player.Eddie actually started out playing drums..Then his brother Alex started playing the drums an Eddie moved to guitar..You should check out some of Alex drum solos..Alex is one of the best on drums.
I remember my six-grade teacher Ann I won't say her last name. I remember me and a classmate seated in first row. She was sitting on the desk in front of me and Bobby, no last name I will say She had red hair, gorgeous face, early sixties eyeglasses and short minie skirt. And crossed her legs right in front of me and Bobby and just smiled, Ill never forget the crush I had for her🔥😂
I’d love to see you react to the band Tool!!! They’re a progressive metal band known for having odd time signatures and longer songs that take you on a journey thru your mind. They have incredible lyrics that are often open to interpretation with incredible music. They’re the best band in the world with a huge fan base known as the Tool Army. They’re first class musicians. I recommend the song Schism and would stay away from the official videos as the video visuals are strange and can distract you from the music and lyrics. Tool doesn’t have a bad song, and it’s incredibly hard to determine your favorite Tool song. With Tool you will Spiral Out 🌀
The band is call van halen not one persion van halen brothers are Alex van Halen on drums Eddie van Halen guitar Micheal Anthony on bass Diamond 💎 David Lee Roth lead vocals 🎤
I highly recommend doing a reaction to "knockin on heaven's door" by Guns N Roses, from The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, I think you'll really like it
Brings back ugly memories of 8th grade and being in waldos position of being picked on scary parents, scary teachers, and scarier kids Still a classic song though and video
Oi eu sou do Brasil, seria muito legal se você fizesse um react da banda de metal Shaman, da música Fairy Tale (Ritual Live). Muitos brasileiros adoram os react dessa banda.
