I'm surprised Sammy didn't ask Nuno Bettencourt to be a part of this. He's like the biggest Eddie Van Halen fan and Eddie was the one that influenced him the most as a guitar player. Not to take anything away from Joe Satriani who is an incredible guitar player, put Nuno would have been a perfect fit.

If you lived in socal in the 70s, you knew who they were. They were a party band that was perfection obnoxiously louder than any band. They were wilder, more fun, and cool AF. When the money came, Eddie got ideas to become a business. That's when the trouble started. They no longer was what they were. Sammy is great, but he's not a party rocker, he is a dollar rocker. I do not and never will support dollar rocking. The spirit in which van halen started from died when eddie went off on dave. I bequeath to you "Van Hagar"

First of all Michael Anthony is currently JOURNEY'S BASSIST. Yes I would love to see David Lee Roth and Michael Anthony tour together for sure. It wouldn't make a difference to me if Alex Van Halen does or not. No matter what people might think of David, he wasn't the problem in the band. It was Eddie and Alex who were the problem. Eddie and Alex had jealousy issues. Fans have to realize that only Eddie and Alex haven't been fired from VAN HALEN! No matter what David did for the band it wasn't good enough! 1) David suggested that the band should be named VAN HALEN. 2) David introduced Valerie Bertinelli to Eddie. 3) Eddie does an EP called STARFLEET PROJECT for a Kids show with Brian May. The show's pilot never launched and the EP bombed. 4) Eddie also did the solo for BEAT IT on Michael Jackson's BAD album 5) Eddie created a personal studio so that he could produce PORN! ABSOLUTELY TRUE! Valerie had to endure the embarrassment of watching whores KUMMING AND GOING in her home. 6) While Eddie was doing projects with everyone except VAN HALEN David decided to do the CRAZY FROM THE HEAT EP. The EP went MULTI-PLATINUM! David was fired for not staying focused on VAN HALEN only. 7) David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Gary Cherone were all fired! 8) Before Eddie died his last despicable act was to discredit Michael Anthony's writing credits for the 1984 album. VAN HALEN'S GREATEST SELLING ALBUM! NO WONDER ALEX wants to live like a hermit! These actions are the tell tale signs of MEGALOMANIA, and NARCISSISM. The truth is that EDDIE for sure and possibly ALEX are CONTROL FREAKS! They could never take a joke about themselves but David can. David is like no other front man in music history! He's an ENTERTAINER! He let everyone in the band perfect and play their instruments. He could have played an instrument and steal more thunder from the STICKS IN THE MUD BROTHERS, but didn't. Anyone who has ever seen an original VAN HALEN line-up tour has seen The whole band rotate in and out of trading off instruments. YES!... ... The original lineup could play every instrument. The VAN HALEN brothers couldn't stand being overshadowed, especially Eddie! I'm not sure if I want to see Sammy Hagar either. Because he joined in on the David Lee Roth BASHING by the VAN HALEN BROTHERS! THE VAN HALEN BROTHERS NEED TO APOLOGIZE FOR ALL THEIR ACTIONS!! ALEX IS THE ONLY ONE STILL ALIVE SO YOU CAN ONLY GET HALF OF THE APOLOGIES OWED TO ALL OF THEM NOW!

Umm...This NOT Van Halen. This is sammy hagar and Micheal Anthony going on tour playing some Van Halen songs with some of sammys band. Period. In no way, shape or form is this Van Halen. Sammy has been out of Van Hagae for 20 years along with Mike. And Mike was cut out of being a member of the corporation during the 1984 tour. I don't agree with the otherd for doing that to him, but the fact is neither of them have claim to the Van Halen name, that belongs to Al and Dave now. So stop with all this crap about a Van Halen tour.

This is a BUSINESS TOO man! Nobody's got time for DLR to get his $h!+ together, mentally. He and Sammy have already proved they don't get along well on tour together, so screw THAT.
