There were plans for a TV series that was set in Transylvania with a Texan as the hero; it was supposed to be an sequel-of-sorts but because of budget reasons and trouble finding a network to host the show, it was officially cancelled.
I was in my early teens when this film came out and it was unforgettable. Now is gloomy 2024 and diving into Van Helsing atmosphere makes me a litlle bit happier. I still love this film and miss these times, times of good cinema with atmosphere, aesthetics, made with passion and love. Thanks to Kate Beckinsale, Hugh Jackman, Richard Roxburgh and other for childhood. p.s dance of Vlad and Anna is the best dance ever filmed, as for me.
