It's not spanish, though. I'ts meant to reflect the location, Transylvania which is famous for Roma (Gypsy) style guitar.

The closest thing to a live action castlevania. The main character is even named Gabriel. I'm sure this was an influence no doubt.

Imagine playing bloodborne and after you submit your life to gehrman and wake up, it was night time and you hear the cleric beast roaring in a distant and this theme plays, letting you know the hunt never ends.
