Some simple van living in a gravel pit. Merchandise: foresty-forests-store.creator... Summit Map: drive.google.com/open?id=12GF... / strava / forestyforest
Let's break this down: 1) Sitting in a van, in a gravel pit, 2) making a sumptuous breakfast, 3)setting off to perform excellent stewardship on the trails with adorable, trusty side-kick , Rocko! 4) fords a COLD creek barefooted 5) hiking like a complete mountain goat - with trusty Rocko! 6) takes us on a tour of a mining site I would never, ever have seen in real life, complete with excellent drone footage 7)returns to van with Rocko, both in one piece 8) cooks a scrumptious gourmet dinner. 9) finds time to do a book review with us 10) excellent shot of that gorgeous girl to wrap it up! All of the above in just 11:22 mintues! Foresty, you and Rocko are just absolute treasures! I've seen posts that were twice as long and only 1/3 as interesting and entertaining. Thank you for your hard work to share with us. You efforts are very much appreciated! Ya'll take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next adventure! 🧡🧡☺☺🥰🥰🐶🐶 P.S. I live in a house, work a 9-5 job and the very best I could manage so far today is a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat bread for breakfast! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
No AI can replace Steve Wallis; we must treasure what we have while it's real. It's the undercurrent tone/emotion and (back) story of your life that endears an audience to you. The camping is nice, trees and all that, but the man is the reason. and I'm not even a terribly frequent viewer, but I recognize the value in you (and Foresty Forest). Be well Steve.

Don't worry about AI, Forest. You are clearly one of the best and authentic storytellers here on RU-vid, and your videography and your drone shots are out of this world. You deserve millions of followers. Keep doing what you have been doing, please!
I don't know. One of the big sticking points for this screen writers strike is AI. They are terrified of it, and for good reason. Just about all the AI experts are also pretty worried about how it will effect the future. Being good is no longer good enough.
@@RippSnortin I see it both ways. I would compare it to the industrial revolution. A lot of people were put out of jobs due to the cotton gin, machines, etc. But we are better off for it. However... the scope of things that ai can do scares me.
Who needs AI when you can see how exquisite reality is and see “mother nature is a meat grinder” in all its harshness. Another interesting segment of life with Foresty and Rocko.
Good to hear the Foresty Forest theme song! Absolutely amazing drone shots. “Mother Nature is a meat grinder” is a very accurate description. Both meals look so yummy! Thanks for bringing us along. Sending you & Rocko lots of hugs and love ❤️
Good to see you and Rocco are doing well. I like the part of the video where you rode off and Rocco took a step and was like I'm not going up there he has to come back to get his camera 😂 salmon look awesome too! Cheer's ❤️🐶👍💯
YAAAAAY!! The intro song is back. I’ve been missing that. Also how smart was Rocco to sit back knowing Forest will be back for the camera. Another great vid Forest, thank you.
So much goodness in a short 10 minute clip. Hiking, biking, cooking, camping, cutting trees and pet loving. .Super cool. What more could a person ask for? Great movie as always.
Prefer the Real Deal of Foresty Forest! 💚🌲🌿 Trail maintenance is inspiring!! The day may have been gloomy but you & Rocko definitely brighten ours!! Sending Aloha 🌴🐳🩵
A simple video? Holy cow this one ticked off every Foresty Forest box. Starts with the jingle... and the rest goes off like a perfect domino. All the longtime Simon fans know what I'm saying.
I gotta say, watching your videos over the years really gives me hope that I can escape the rent trap. I'm older and don't have the strength or electrical savvy to do a build myself, but watching you I can see that I don't have to have 200K to buy a fancy rig. I've learned what's necessary for a reasonably comfortable and sustainable home on wheels, and I appreciate watching your builds and modifications, and your day-in-the-life videos. I hope you'll be able to find a sustainable way to create content without damaging your neurological health. And if you have to step away or slow down on the videos, know that there are a lot of people out here that genuinely care about you.
Amazing how mother nature takes everything back. Once again, thank you for sharing these remote and beautiful places that we are so blessed to be a part of
Love this video. These places that existed in history, yet few people get to see the remains. And you are the brave one to go get the footage for all to see. Wow! I love it. ❤
The Foresty Forest theme song is back!! YAY! Rocco is such a cutie, I loved it when she hung back while you rode on, like she was saying, "hey you left something here" :)
My Dear Lone Wolf, You are one intriguing dude. You casually drop a big one by saying "I've talked myself out of everything I have to share for now " You'll share when you're ready. Godspeed.
Hah. When I saw that colourful artwork for the first time, I thought back to my teen years and the crazy posters with the black light on. Nice outing and grub ! 🌲🤙
That mine site looked really neat and that dinner looked incredible. Coming out to BC in July in our new Class B Camper van. We'll be doing a bit of forestry road camping.
Hey Foresty forest that was a fun video. It was a beautiful spot. It was cool seeing that old Mining cabin and the drone footage was amazing. You and Rocko always make my day. You guys are so much fun. Be safe out there. I look forward to next video.🇺🇸♥️👍🙂🙏🐾🏔️🚐🇨🇦
I'm preparing my van and my life and soon, very soon, I'll be ot there exploring. Thanks for the inspiration and the honest videos you put out. Hope to see ya out there one of these days. Safe travels
I'm on my ebike almost everyday, but its a full size. I think your sized ebike is better equipped for being in the forest, hence Foresty Forest....take care and keep climbing !!
Man ... I would love to explore all of those old buildings with a metal detector ... I'm sure all of those old miners probably stashed all sorts of things under the floorboards and stuff ... poker winnings and personal items and such ... not much privacy in a mining camp, and even less to occupy oneself when not working!!!
Every time I watch your videos I get hungry! That looks damn good! You should become a chef! I see that Rocco got a hair doo. She looks adorable! Take care you two!
That breakfast and dinner looked so good! I wrote down what you put in the salmon dinner. I also enjoyed the hike up to the old mining buildings. Just to think of what they must have looked like when they were working mines is interesting. Just a side note, I lost my dog of 15 1/2 years in January and watching Rocco just makes me smile. Safe Travels
Wow that was quite a hike up to the mountain to see that abandoned site. I wonder if you ever experienced any ghosts in some of those places. I would love to see a video dedicated to Rocko and what y'all do when you're not hiking. She's just so cute and I'm telling you she's ripped from all that running and hiking she does! I've never seen a Jack Russell that muscular! 😃❤️ Your cooking is great too.
Rocko must get really confused by your back-and-forth traveling shots. "Which way are you going?" and "Hey, you forgot the camera." Or, "Why are we crossing this stream twice?"
It's always a good day when Foresty Forest drops a new video. I love this 'day in the life' stuff with all the cooking! Wow, mother nature tore that mining site up! I would maybe expect that kind of annihilation after 100 years, but there was conduit and oriented strand board, so the construction was sometime after the mid-60s.
