You come up with some really neat gadgets! A gadget in my van is a wireless phone charger that ‘grabs’ the phone and holds it in place. My favourite DIY gadget is my automatic under-van critter light system. I had some left over LED lights and got creative with a Bluetooth controller and a light sensitive ON-OFF switch. Keep’ em coming Dee, I love your videos 🤗
Love your videos and I've been binge-watching your older ones lately. Your setup is definitely my favourite for a very small van that I've seen. You've managed to achieve the Tardis effect where your vehicle is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside!! Great video as always 👏🏾🤗
Hi Dee! I love all of these items. And these will help me in my car just to keep it organized! Organization---it makes our life better in so many ways. Thanks for sharing and you look amazing as always 🥰 Thanks for having such a giving heart and spirit🥰
I really appreciate you, I bough my transit connect in spring and I’m still designing my interior, it’s nice finding similar styles to draw inspiration from 💜 I’m moving to NM soon, I’ve been vehicle dwelling for almost a year!
Dee, love your vids. I worked in law enforcement. Quick tip...don't show your license plate. It's very easy to read on here. Too many creeps out there. I hope I don't sound condescending. Just want you and others to be safe. Happy travels! Much Aloha!
No worries! Thanks. Yes, my father is as well. I know, of course, that anyone doing so would be doing something illegal 😝 so I’m not too worried about it.
@@dross24MA Unless they have a friend in law enforcement or they're in law enforcement (which some are), criminals can't get anything from your license plates. People can cause trouble for Dee though, like reporting a crime and giving her information (her description, a description of her vehicle, and her license plate). Police can actually issue a warrant just on that. It would get resolved eventually but not before she's arrested, booked, put in jail, her vehicle is impounded, and she may spend time in jail or use her hard earned money to post bail. I've worked with clients that has happened to so RU-vidrs really need to hide their license plates. People are crazy.
You've reminded me of things my dad used to have in his car. I had no idea some of these things still existed. Thanks for the reminder and for the new things!
I think of you everytime I see a mini ford transit. Not many in Red. I did see a new Blue one! These are cool gadgets. And you're right. It never ends. I spent the whole day shopping for inspiration. I'm always trying to improve my comfort. I just HAD to have a mini rice cooker today. I hear great things about the Dash mini rice cooker. It works!!! Only 200 watts and it boils! Your videos are enjoyable to watch. You're very attractive. It helps! 😊 ~ 🦋
Great video Dee. I always end up finding something useful for organizing in your videos I can pick up. I got the side organizers thing time. 😊 Great Video and Happy Travels! 🤙🏾
Dear Dee, As someone who can’t move back overseas again for adventures, I’ve been enjoying armchair traveling with you! You are missed, and your fan base looks forward to your return 😃 Take care, and hope to see you again on here soon! G.
I was looking to see if there were any videos this week because I thought I missed it, but I noticed there were not… So I wanted to comment on this one yay
Good ideas. I have been trying to organize my pick up truck with the hopes of going to Arizona . Believe it or not I use to be a good engineer but after I got sick it has been hard doing the smallest things. I hope you have a good week and thinks for the info.
Recently picked up a container which is meant to hook on the shower I have it in the passenger seat secured by a cable tie to the headrest poll Can put dog leads , dog water bottles and treats and other items into it Think I may get a two tier one when I go on holiday and I do not have a dog with me Some people would use for human implements 😂 Thank you Dee
Great bunch of gadgets Dee. I like the side of seat organizers and the sun glass holders! My vehicle has no inbuilt place for glasses (which I really miss) so that will be an immediate purchase for me. Thanks so much for these ideas. :) Your new double box is so useful for storage!
Always love to see what others use in their vans. We have a NO BUILD Ford Transit and with the ability to change things up - are always searching for new and helpful things to add to our travels & our adventures. Thanks for sharing! Always inspiring! ~Karen & Shannon WOY
I love your tiny home so much! :) I am SO glad you mentioned the bluetook visor clip on. My aux connection is shorted and I have been listening to music and directions via my little speaker. This could be a game changer! :D I appreciate you and your videos. 💞
Dear Dee It is always nice to see how to use things in different ways and as always many great suggestions! Van looks great as always. Enjoy your weekend and be careful and safe as alway.
Great finds. I like the tissue holder, can use to hide some cash. Seat side pouch will be a nice addition. Thanks for sharing! And as always looking good!
You find the greatest little gadgets. I really like the magnetic bags. They look very sleek and are out of the way when not in use. Thanks so much for sharing!!! Loved the video.☺️
Glad you like them! Yes, they come in handy especially at night when I’m looking for something that would otherwise be laying around somewhere harder to find!
@@LadyBugout hi Dee It's so nice to hear from you, I'm in UK she's 31 years young and looks great for her age . Think she's been doing keep fit ha ha Hope your keeping well hun xx
@@LadyBugout Dee I was looking for the video regarding your approach to minimal clothing for van life. I looked through the playlist, but I couldn't find it could you help me in finding that video please? Thank you in advance 😊
Here’s another on how to make clothes last longer between washes VAN LIFE | How I Do Laundry in my Tiny Van (& Off Grid Bolivia Laundry Hacks)! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2BilRFueG2A.html
Love your gadget videos! I bought one of those bag sealers but now that I'm living iny van I can't find it. I've looked in my.syorage unit at least 3 times so it must have got left behind with some other stuff. Love the side seat organizers! And the cord thing is awesome! I just bought a used homemade teardrop camper to pull which will allow me to get rid of my storage unit so maybe I'll find it then. Hehe all good items? Thanks Dee! Happy trails!
Can you do another interior tour , as I've noticed something's have changed since you last did one , and how you painted your interior too as I'm at a stage of not knowing whether i should paint my interior or not , thanks Dee ❤
Here is the new tour- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IheF7gXktVk.html I painted the interior with spray paint. I just asked the ace hardware people which one would do the job. I didn’t seal it after, but I just do touch ups when needed, which is rare. I just taped and used painters plastic on the parts I didn’t want painted.
My son wants to go van life. It’s his birthday next month and he loves to listen to his music while he drives so thank you I just got him the little speaker. 😊
My best gadgets are my portable car booster. It charges by USB, has a light and can charge a phone if all else fails. Next is my cordless fan that is USB chargeable. I have a one to three 12 V plug so I can use one for a USB plug for my iPhone Google Maps, one for my lunchbox cooker or the car booster and one for charging my Bluetti that my 12 V fridge is plugged into. The great thing about the plug is it has toggles, so you can turn off what you're not using. This is great because Monty the minivan has live plugs when parked. And I can the 12 V splitter with my Bluetti if I need to run the fridge and the 12 V heating blanket at the same time. I also have a USB splitter that makes one into four. I haven't used it in Monty, just my computer at home because I don't need to charge all my USB things at once and my Bluetti EB70S can handle most things. Cheers. Jon in rural BC, Canada
Hi i am new watching your RU-vid channel video 👏📸. Lovely your beautiful van beautiful things you in your van 🌹 keep watching 👏👏👏👏 your RU-vid video 👍👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️✌️
@@LadyBugout im glad 😊 i even checked on instagram. Take all the time you need. As long as you're well. We will be here when you're ready Much love and blessings ❤️
Hi D, I’m B. I was watching some van videos and your channel popped up. I’ve subscribed and watched quite a few. You sure are organized and have to be in a small space. Question: Where do you hang your clothes up? Coats, pants etc? Shoes? I like your information and you are really good on explaining things. I will keep watching. 👊🏼✌🏼
I appreciate the encouragement and welcome to the channel. I have clothes storage under the sofa bed and above the cab area. My shoes are under the passenger area where I created more storage. Hope that helps!
Not sure if it would work for your situation but I use shower caps around the bottom of my shoes when I pack them in my suitcase to keep my clothes clean
Hi Dee🙂 I appreciate your weekly videos about van life. Thank you for posting your thoughts and insights. I was wondering, if it’s safe to do so, if you could address how one handles having health and car insurance. When I lived overseas, it was easy to have a friend or relative let you use their address for mail, etc. What could a person do if one was without a fixed address? What are the logistics? Thanks, and take care!
Those are all great questions with complex answers. Here’s a link to a good place to start for info since I don’t have a video on this yet. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tUFycjFVMe0.htmlsi=CMu0O9Ho-2hZf-xg
@@LadyBugoutthank you for your answer ❤ Nice to hear that you are oke. I think also that making a weekly video can be time concuming, on top of normal life! Hope the family matters are not hard or sad and that yu can enjoy some free (me) time and rest! ❤
Someone is on hiatus!🙂 You are missed, but I hope you’re doing something perfect for what you want or need right now. An idea for a future video: Even if one is scrupulously clean/tidy, it seems vehicles may attract all kinds of critters- from large to microscopic, reptilian to mammalian- seeking hosts for food or shelter. Has this ever been a problem for you and/or other van folks? Any tips, tricks or advice?
Missed your videos while I was locked up,don't pull a knife on an old man ay,but anyway the last video I watched you where going to stop dying your hair what ever you did you look amazing
