Great overview of key tools to have. I would add a roll of Gorilla Tape. Also, I’d throw in a set of Fluid Line Clamps. Thanks for covering such an important topic.
Hey Guys; I have a STO in Colorado. Wanted to know if that course Beyond the Pavement will be run again? Everything I need to know to feel comfortable off road. Thanks for letting me know. joe
Even if you are not, someone else nearby may have the skills and can do the fix or show you how to do the fix if you can provide the tools. Also, if you have the tools, you can grow the skills as needed.
I’ve been wanting to ask about the heat in the van. What type of heater does it have. I’m assuming it uses the Volta system. Is there propane on board. If it’s just electric how long can you run the heater if you’re winter camping. Love your videos.
Hugely informative! Honestly, though, can’t imagine having the knowledge or ability to fix auto mechanical stuff in the field. How about a smaller kit for the inept and clueless?
If you don't have the knowledge have the tools anyway. Either someone will come by to help, or if in a cellphone range, can message mechanics to tell you what to do.
