I watched this video around 10 years ago and loved it.This video really made me want to live the Vanlife it also was made before vanlife became so popular and the cool thing I found one of the first iPhones I had 10 years ago and I saved this video because I loved watching it

Hi Ben, Thanks for watching! We've done 2 winters in the Fiat Highlander now and it's been an awesome van. Enough space for the 4 of us and very reliable. It's slow on the mountain passes but all the old vans are! If you are planning on spending a winter in one, a wood burning stove is a must.The built in gas heaters just don't cut it. Also don't forget to have an indoor plumbing system. The old vans all have the plumbing underneath and when it gets to -30 it's all frozen! Jules

Good kit and a wood burning stove. Essential for early season! It can be pretty cold in the mornings though

Hi Sonja, You can put any wood burning stove in a van but you will need to cut a hole either in the side or the roof for your flue to go out of.
