It would be so hard for me not to just steam clean all the padding and keep it. But you gotta make it your own I guess. Look fwd to the next vid.

Sorry, but I think you should have passed on this beautiful custom street van and bought a window van or a dedicated camper van. Makes no difference how great the camper conversion turned out. You ruined a piece of canning history! This was a classic street van!

I gotta disagree brother haha! Hard to compare a window or camper van to this pristine 78er -- the exterior of which I won't be touching. Been in the vanning world my whole life and have nothing but respect for the classic period and for the current van scene. Bought my 76 Dodge the year it came out but have also redone the interior 3 times, over 4 decades and the van still screams classic every time it rips down the road. Removing another person's interior, who removed another person's interior, doesn't take away its history but adds another layer. The motto is keep on vanning. One day when I'm long gone, hopefully there will be another van lover driving this beauty and putting their own flavour to it. The Demo vid is a tough watch for anyone I know, but hopefully you'll stick around and see where I'm coming from. Thanks for watching!
