Hey, I was wondering if you would consider a reel maintenance video? Just a general how to clean, oil, and grease diy on spinning reels. Show us the ropes. Lots of misinformation out there and I think that would be an invaluable resource for both the new and seasoned angler, especially coming from an authoritative expert such as yourself. Hope you might consider that? Anyone else agree? Like if you do!

Have they fixed the anti-reverse problems with the VR series? I want to buy one but based on a quick Google search, this seems to be a problem a lot of VR owners are having.

Then what's is the real saltwater reel??? I saw people complaining on water intrusion on Penn Slammer and The SaltX... Now Van Stal. Should I jump to Saltiga or Stella in order to get real protection from saltwater????

Hello, great content as always. Can you do a comparison between the vr and the salt X? It’s going to be my 18 birthday and I was planing on buying the VR 200 but with the release of the new salt X I’m conflicted. Hope it’s not a a hazle.

It's kinda tough to compare them with the salt x being so new. I know there have been some documented issues with the VR. TIme will tell if issues show on the salt x. But it is solid. It also feels better than the good vr's I've handled. For what that's worth.

Have you done a video on the vr 50? I cant find it on your channel. I want tio know if you think it will pair up good with a 9ft Bass Pro Ocean Master? Its Medium 15-30 lbs. 1 - 3 oz. In another video they said the vr50 have alot of problems though is this true?

No true vid on it other than in the dark matter Ob rod video.. But i really like it.. I haven't had a single issue to speak of.. Strong and feather light

@@TackleAdvisors After some research i think the vr50 might be too small for the 9ft bass pro ocean master med 1-3 oz so I am going with that Daiwa Ballistic 6000 11.1 oz . I want to get good distance from shore. Do you think the daiwa theory is a better choice then the ballistic?
