I love how homey his van is, it makes me smile. The extra cabinet on the door is awesome. Great tip using the curtains as a bug screen. He certainly has created an artistic oasis.
I'm just not a fan of fake foliage and flowers.BUT MAN does that work and fairy lights to boot awesome! I think the whole thing is absolutely stunning. And amazes me that a dude did this! 😆 are you sure you're not an interior designer? Really awesome love everything about. Thanks for sharing💗
He’s been in luxury sales most of his life. So it’s no surprise he’s taken a part of what he’s learned in that business into his build. He did mention many men felt it too pretty for their liking. But all women absolutely love it. So he’s not complaining lol.
Zach is a cool kat. From the high shine pomade to the pipe, He is living his authentic life on 4 wheels. We thought Ame in a Van was fancy. Zach has fine taste, Im positive he will have no problem attracting that special van life queen with this beauty of a buildout. Just nice! Im single now but maybe I should consider upping my decor game. Thanks yall.
Versace van guy, great van, really great taste, the antique lanterns are beautiful! Thank you for the tour and advice, totally agree about simple elegance. Best wishes for many happy journey's.
I love his projects like the headboards and the beautiful black wrought iron touches. Medieval and coastal elegance:). Great functionality throughout. Who knew a classic, elegant chair could look this masculine? A mix of global style meets Renaissance Man - truly unique and appealing to the eye - except for the plastic flowers of course - but they do make me smile and roll my eyes:). Love this one - no plastic in sight either.
Hi Zack I bought my Ford 1983 MK2 in October and although it’s not finished, my house is coming down with antique hooks and little cupboards, door knobs, fake candles, fairy lights, velvet throws, and artificial blooms and ivy. No additional insulation on the ceiling besides painting it with black anti chip paint and my inside garden won’t reduce the effectiveness of the paint. I live at the beach in Northern Ireland and so I’ve also got some favourite stones and wood that I’ve used to decorate a small mirror. I obviously absolutely love your van and it’s exactly the theme I have been aiming for except my kitchen - original mid century cabinet and a dresser. I have watched soooo many utube vids and taken soooo many photos and found myself drifting towards the modern solutions which is not a natural place for me, but my vision seemed to go against the grain so much that I doubted myself. Well, that was until I came across your van tour. I watched the first 10 secs and saw my vision!!!! It is possible and I won’t doubt it again. Also I am going to get myself a chaise ….. oh happy days lol. Thanks so much x
@Sheena Vaughan your ideas for your van sounds brilliant, I cant wait to see the final outcome one day. As for the mid century furniture, its ALL your own template, no one else's. All honesty, selling furniture in Hollywood for a few years, I absolutely LOVE the mid century decor and if I was going a different route (maybe my next van ) i would probably go mega retro 60s Mod van big time , lol! That would be pretty gnarly actually 🤙. This van I really wanted a "beach house" look , primarily because of everything that's been going on in the world and my own country. I really wanted something visually calming when I close my doors at night. The mood of the past year or so inspired me to build this private lil' oasis of mine. Im glad I was able to share it with all of you thanks to my friend @Travis_travels ✌🌻❤🚐
@@zachdontlookback9053 Thanks Zack and I’m searching for my perfect chaise as we speak and yes it will be a completely impractical velvet lol. I don’t do Instagram only fb, so can’t see your story but will keep up on utube. Yes nothing like the beach. I’m a few yards from it but NI beaches are probably a bit different from yours lol still it blows the cobwebs away! Have fun 🤩
Awesome van build. I love how Zack used items like the mailbox & storage box as storage. Totally approve of the van's design as it is Zack's personal paradise! I bet at night the ambiance is cool!
@Jeanne Miller That chair was just the perfect touch to my van build, and to think this BRAND NEW chair with a broken leg was about to wind up in a dumpster, keep in mind it retails for $1200 originally, and I managed to score it for free and give it some LIFE!! I love it too! ❤✌🌻 Thank you! And, I LOVE that you love it equally!
Love this van! Excellent idea on the oven/ stove and LOVE the blush pink chair and all your opulent touches! Amazing what u have done. Love from England🏴
It’s funny because this video lead me to find you snd subscribe to your channel. Everything happens for a reason. When we are grateful & trust, magic happens 🙏🏼
I love your van so much. It's so authentic to you. I love the time and thought you put into it and that you go for what makes you happy rather than bow to societies twisted standards
@Pinki Lol! There's about 4 items in that van I scored for free working at a furniture, that chair was one of them because it had a broken leg. As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure and that chair was just pure luck. Brand new its easily about a $1200 chair so im ecstatic about that find. Now, all I need is an equally eclectic leg to attach to it! Be cool if I can find some sort of antique wooden claw foot just to keep it different. ✌🌻🚐
@@zachdontlookback9053 I know you will find the perfect legs even if you see them at a thrift store on an ugly chair. Have me an idea for that spot in my next van
I think this is my favourite van thus far. I love the decor and and especially the arm chair. I originally wanted my velvet armchair in my van but my van is too small. But love seeing someone who has one in their van. I love all the antique touches. That suitcase storage is so cool Awesome job!
Hi Dennis, I have quite a bit of storage beneath the bed that ill switch out seasonally my winter and my summer clothes (at the moment, my winter gear is stowed away). I keep my regular daily clothing in a duffle bag above the drivers cockpit and whats easiest accessible from beneath the bed. Keep in mind, living this lifestyle you also learn to be a minimalist to conserve every part of storage in these "tiny homes".
I store my clothes in a vacuum like bags, in 2 inch draws, underneath my pull out futon in my van. I also have milk crates as floating shelves and place light weight cloths up there.
I love his van, and outlook on van life, many of his reasons are the same for me for getting into van life. And look location is irrelevant but you said Newport is where u live? Only one Newport I know of and its in NC my home base and my parents live there to. If so nice to see a local van dweller. Thanks for sharing.
I'm back to sleeping great, something about sleeping in that van just doesn't work for my body anymore. I haven't figured it out yet, but my guess is PTSD.
I would look at an apicool or a costway 12 volt fridge... They are efficient and and you can get a bigger one for less money 1/2 price than if you got a dometic, or whyter... If you watch any of Bob Wells videos he compares them to the high end brands and he actually likes these 2 brands better ... And they have the ones that are all of frigerator or the ones that can be a refrigerator and a freezer Mine is very efficient and quiet
@jackie , I keep my van very clean and organize. But, just about everyone out there in the vanlife has experienced a "stow away" at least once. Ive had once a mouse that I tried to catch for a week and a squirrel, but the squirrel was pretty brazen coming into my van while I was eating some brie and crackers. Its automatic that you want to open up all your doors and have a view of a beautiful spot not thinking of any little critters hopping up into your domain. Matter fact, once I almost had a Racoon climb into my van, luckily I was able to shoo him away before he fully stepped in.
This Van looks stunning, all I can say is wow and its a man.At first you would think its from a girl :-) It lokks amazing and very cozy and comfortable, very clever design.
