So at 21 and not-quite-21, you're not just homeowners, you're essentially custom home builders. That's fantastic! Furthermore, you do impressive work and explain it well. Extremely impressive all around.
jt elevenoyd Yeah it’s cool how young they are to be building vans. However, it’s not cool to copy someone else’s van build and take complete credit for it 🤷♀️
Erin Quintero Just how many ways can you build out a little van?!? There aren’t that many choices other than kitchen and bathroom on the left or right side, color, wood and tile! Jeesh.
I'm in the tile industry and cringe when I see real tile in van builds, and how they were installed. THIS install was carried out very intelligently. Full points to these two!
You’re in the tile industry and you know this trucks always bounce up and down. Your tile will fall in time if you don’t re-grout your tile . No one has time to keep re-grout and most don’t know how to. Rubber grout? Puhahha funny never heard of rubber grout. Has it been tested?
@@Bnguyen276 Never heard of rubber grout? Dude rubber grout has been around since well before silicon got commercially common and made it even better. Try glancing up and looking at new things when you go to the hardware store, you might notice that a lot of new stuff has come out in the last few decades, ya goof :P
I did a full wet room tiled bathroom in a bus, 5 years old and no problems... I used silicone instead of grout.... Only thing is it's kind of heavy so need to watch weight distribution... The corner lines not meeting up on this one would be my only criticism.... Would bother me some...
pretty amazing they can fit it inside. From the parts listed above, it looks like they used a 7 gallon grey water tank. Is that enough to hold the water from the shower someone will take? I'm assuming there's a drain built in somewhere around the toilet, although I don't quite see it in the video. I think the average shower uses 15 gallons at least.
@@originofpeace I think it's more like "birdbath" showers you take in a van to conserve water. So turn on the water quickly just enough to get wet, turn it off as you put shampoo in your hair or soap on your body, then turn it on just long enough to wash it off.
Finally a van with not only a toilet but also with a shover. Also with capacious fridge and freezer. That might be one of the best van designs which I ever saw.
I still think having a toilet that can be pushed back, instead of having to remove it each time when taking a shower is better. I like the overall design though.
I am really impressed. That is one of the best van builds I've seen and I watch a lot of van builds on RU-vid. For me water, shower, and toilet are more important than anything. I'm always amazed when I see van builds but there is no bathroom. You guys are totally awesome. And so young.
One of the nicest home conversion on RU-vid, and I especially like the way you talk in front of camera, not over enthusiastic or over hyped acting other vanlife hippies always put up.
Right! Great van! I give huge props for no upspeak, no constantly misusing the word "like" and using it ten times per sentence. No long "um"s for filler....What an articulate young woman...oh! and props that she wasn't showing lots of skin for the purpose of getting more page views, which is more than I can say for many other van-lifers. Hands-down the most adorable couple who are doing great work at such a young age. Wishing them the BEST travels, prosperous business and overall joy.
@@elbee1290 I adore Kenzie. I've been watching since their own travel series. She's so knowledgeable on the construction aspects of the build. She wasn't just flipping her hair while a guy explains all the complicated bits like solar and electrical systems. Watch the build series, girl knows her stuff. And Joey is awesome too :-)
Refreshing to see a couple of young people speaking articulately and intelligently while resonating maturity and respect. Great couple of entrepreneurs. Good luck in your future. Enjoyed your video.
@@JustShawnie that's so nice of you to say. when I look at these two, I sense that they could start a great business and employ a lot of people with this great talent that God has blessed them with. I hope you have a great night!
@@JustShawnie awe, that makes me smile. God is good! Meeting nice people on RU-vid I like finding an amazingly good prize in a cereal box! Haha. Be well!
Trent Mason Haha! Lol!😃 Nice to meet you as well! I pray that The Mighty One of Israel (YHVH) bless you and make His holy face to shine in goodness upon you your loved ones as well, thank you and have a great amazing fantastic day and weekend. Be well
I won’t lie, I was skeptical of two 21 years and their first client build, but I have to say I’m really impressed, not just by how well thought-out and constructed this designed turned out, but also by how thorough and engaging your video is, there’s natural ease and not over-produced. Should be proud all around!
Bravo on the build, your wisdom at such young ages to save your money, learn marketable skills, start a business AND prepare to live a sustainable lifestyle around experiences. You two are very wise, and we’ll-spoken. You have developed much of what is needed to enjoy whatever paths you choose to follow.
I’ve seen a few with a door and mirror. It’s becoming popular. I actual like when they have the swivel front seats so they become part of the living space.
My concerns with the tile is more the vibration from the road eventually coming loose from the backside. They make really nice looking vinyl sheets that look just as good and is much lighter and cheaper to purchase.
Should be fine if they used the correct product. I wouldn't put it in a 4x4 camper for off-roading but if it's mostly road use it'll be fine. Any problems? Just re-grout, it's easy.
CONGRATULATIONS! This is SO beautiful & well thought out. Two thoughts for the client (i) a cutting board that fits over the sink with the exact sane shape to extend the counter space (ii) a folding stool/chair to seat a guest in front of the fridge when the table is pulled out. I can probably be hung sideways on the wall to the right behind the little built-in seat.😁 🔹Thx again for sharing your hard work with us The wallpaper, tiles & countertop make this so aesthetically pleasing. God Bless you both!
You SHOULD be super proud! This is AMAZING, and especially considering how young you two are. If I were in the States I'd put an order for my own van right now. Best of luck in your endeavors, you deserve it!!!
This is my favorite sprinter build-out I have seen yet. Great clean, modern homey look to the interior. Love the tile work. Bathroom and closet/clothes storage space is crucial. I don't know how people are able to live this lifestyle without a decent bathroom with shower and toilet. The solid partition with sliding door and full length mirror is great. Also, the solar set up is very impressive. 5 batteries in that battery bank, the circuit box, converter etc all fit neatly and efficiently in that area. Like the low profile solar panels too. Awesome job!
Magnificent build! Your attention to detail & desire to address the needs of your client shows. I've researched conversion vans/tiny homes for more than a few years- would have no idea you weren't professionals. Love the shower/toilet area for me personally this is a must have as is the solar. Will be contacting you when I'm ready to build my own within the next 6-8 months.
I’m so proud of you both sometimes i use to think that people do things just to have a RU-vid channel but at least you guys have a RU-vid channel and now you’re making it into a business this is great I am so interested this is wonderful kudos to you both🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💪🏿💪🏿
THIS IS ONE OF THE PRETTIEST CONVERSIONS I'VE SEEN! Been subbed for a while and seeing your growth is so inspiring, wishing you two all the best with your business. Can't wait to see more!!!
Oh my Lord. This is by far one of my fav designs. Nothing quite like it. My fav interior color of gray, counter tops, and the beautiful walls...I love it all!!! I'm ready to move in today. Amazing job guys. Namaste.
Outstanding work! Beautiful, modern and clean! You both should be very proud of your build. Here's to others booking a build with you. I understand there bittersweet of putting your craftsmanship in to a beautiful project and watching it drive away! Thank you for ther video. Was waiting for this!
Really impressive build! It seems like you have accumulated a great deal of expertise over a relatively short period of time. I really enjoyed the video! Keep it up!
I was wondering where you went - no videos for a LONG time. I guess you're busy with your new endeavors building vans for clients. Good to see you're back on YT and doing well. The van looks AMAZING! I especially like that you fitted a wet room complete with a shower and composting toilet and a wall separating the cab/front/driver seat, giving a more private and stealthy feeling when parking somewhere you might not legally sleep. I hope you can make a successful business out of doing client van builds. Do you plan to upgrade your own van with a separate wet room with shower and composting toilet and wall separating the front cab from the living space like you did on this one?
I would put a shelf above sink for spices. Maybe magnetic spice rack. Love the pull out table and microwave. Bathroom is pretty, but I would have made it even just 6 inches wider. You could maybe thin the wall of the closet there instead.
Hey everyone! Since we can’t reply to every single comment on here, we just wanted to say THANK YOU for your amazing feedback and support!!❤️ We really do appreciate every person here who took the time to check out the work we did. We are grateful for this awesome growing community of friends!
I started binge watching all these people living in vans and I have noticed that each of them have perfectly untouched, clean with no traces of use vans but saying they’re living there for months and even for years 🤔
I paused the video to look at it from above. It looks great. I dont like skylights due to maintenance and putting a hole in the roof. But, I'm sold after seeing this.
Young, smart, talented and such a personable duo! I love every detail and soothing van tones in this Amazing van built. Best of luck with all future builds! 👍👏😊
YOU GUYS ARE REALLY SKILLED AT THE JOBS YOU CHOSE TO DO. YOU MADE A WISE CHOICE AND YOUR VIDS ARE VERY DETAILED AND I THINK YOU ARE A VERY CUTE COUPLE. I HOPE YOU ARE ALWAYS SUCCESSFUL IN ALL YOU DO
You two are absolutely AMAZING! Both your design features as well as your excellent taste in outfitting this van are not usually realized by someone three times your age! Verrrrry impressive! Including the van, what would the total retail cost be for acquiring something like this with this exact design? I am the father of three and grandfather of 3 and they live all over the US. This is EXACTLY what I'm looking for that I could be self contained, self sufficient, travel and work on my computer constantly without any other concerns other than filling the water tank, parking on the street or in their driveways and without a hotel while I'm visiting. The absolute BEST conversion I have ever seen.
I'm obsessed with this build! It's almost exactly what I'm wanting! I've been dreaming of van life for years now. How much does a build along these lines go for?
@@adventuresona700dollarhard5 Really? If thats the case I should start doing it, I've done everything these guys are doing to the exact same standard. There's 15k worth of stuff in that build.
One of the best and neatest electrical bank and water tank I have seen. Very nice and organize. Of course. On top of everything else 👍👍👍. But of course the little extra details make a difference
I absolutely LOVED the lighted closet!! When I'm ready... I'm gonna call you!!! I haven't seen anything like this!! I'm hoping to get started in 2021 for sure!! ❤❤❤❤
Great build! I work in the field of emergency vehicular technologies, service and safety and we frequently work with solar panels. If I can give you an advice to improve your next builds, you should always leave a gap between your solar pannels and the roof of the vehicules. The contact between the panel and the sheet metal will produce overheating and will reduce the lifetime of the pannel. High temperature will also decrease the performance of the pannel. Continue the great Job!
How much of a gap do you need? I was just admiring the way the solar panels lay flush to the roof so they’re not visible from the street. So much more elegant than the ones that people mount on roof racks.
