The stage 1 tune worked for me opened it up a little on the top end but the auto tune function has been a nightmare. More than 2 plus hours and a little improvement but none of the functions that I see online. Very frustrated bought because of a friend who used the FP3 on his stage 4 128" had awesome results but the FP4 does not look like it is up to the task. I have Roadglide Ultra with a 117 build and like i said the stage 1 tune helped but I hoped the autotune would be something I could use. I hope they improve it but looking at all the post about the FP4 who knows. That being said I have several buddies who have had real positive things to say about the FP3. and yes I have a Iphone which the app looks very different than anything I see online. This video shows you correct way to set it up. Cheers
Mine didn't come with any instructions. I got 2into1 Bassani road rage and the map for 2into1 VH option (I only have VH as options to select from in exhaust and I emailed them and they said to run 3-4 tanks on the 2into1 VH option) and it runs a little rough at lower RPM. I will use autotune. Do you have instructions on autotune or any advice?
I watched J&P cycles video and Vance and Hines video in it. I haven’t turned it on auto tune yet because I Emailed Vance and Hines and they told me which map to use.
Just bought one for my ‘21 RKS. Is it just me or does the optimization feature only work on android devices? Also I heard FP4 will be covering stage 2 in the future hopefully.
The response of the bike is much better. The engine runs much smoother. The only downside is that there currently isn’t a map for the Vance and Hines power duals and S&S MK45 slip ons but there is one that is close.
@@JHB_Customs that’s good man. I almost bought the fp4 but after a lot of bad reviews I just decided to pay Harley to download a map to my bike. Cheaper and does the same thing essentially.
@@gldixon86 $400 I’ve rode like 3,000+ miles and haven’t had any issues. Bike gets hot and idles higher but it’s summer. I can tell it’s running smoother with the download than before. If you’re just doing a stage 1 then do the download at a dealership. They’ll try to get you on the dyno but that’s pointless unless you’re trying to get rid of the speed governor. If you’re gonna do cams too I’d just get the FP3 online. Those have better features and can tune with cams way cheaper.
