I'm a grocery store worker in Oregon and don't feel appreciated here at all. This just made me tear up! It's beautiful how a simple gesture as such can raise the vibration of so many💚 Thank you for this share.
I have been thinking about them too. All those still working for us, we the people. God bless them they are all heroes!!!!! They are on the front lines !
As a front line nurse at BC Children’s, thank you Vancouver! Stay safe and stay home! To the battlefields for us! You will not win Covid-19 that I can promise.
With brave soldiers like you guys you bet Covid-19 won't win. We'll kicks its butt by staying on our butts at home and cheering for you on our balconies. If you hear loud metal banging in the Coal Harbour area that's me.
First Responder here! (Fire) It is truly heart warming every evening. This means a lot to us, and all other front line workers during this time. THANK YOU!!! ❤❤👮♂️👨🚒👨⚕️👩🔬🚑🚒🚓🏨
@@jimmyjoeh2o Thanks for your kind words. Though I would say a better source of inspiration would be a single dad who lost his job and is still providing for his two kids (that was my former neighbor). Stay strong, stay healthy, stay safe. We got your backs.
I am a health care worker in the Valley and I thank you!! This love is spreading , they are doing it in my neighbourhood too and we are more than an hour outside of downtown Vancouver! 💜
This makes me cry. Humans are inherently good, and its just a shame it takes a tragedy to bring it out in us. God bless the frontline workers across the world, risking their lives so others may live. Celebrities are nothing compared to these heroes.
@IvanVlogs I dont believe in a god, and i think humans are inherently good, they just become corrupted by circumstance. Situations like the one we are facing is proof that even when things get bad, the good in most of us is enhanced.
I just moved here from Newfoundland this past summer, and I love it here. I, love, it, here. And I know I'm a new resident and that I probably can't call it "my city" yet, but gosh damn, this makes me so proud of where I live now. I love where I came from, but I love where I am now, too. Vancouver is an amazing city. Stay safe and healthy everyone.
@@knightrider693 - Flattening the curve basically means stretching out the bell curve start and end points. So something that normally would run its course in 3 months naturally, not may take 6 months to a year. The concept of flattening the curve is more about healthcare capacity and lowering the peak of the the bell curve below that line. This is not a bad thing. If we go beyond that threshold, then we end up overrunning our medical systems and healthcare professionals get picked off one by one. Italy and Spain re are great example of what happens when you cross that threshold. Doctors get sick.Nurse get sick. That medical capacity line drops lower as a result. That's a feedback loop. So I totally get what "Flattening the curve" about , but most people think it's winning this war. It's just buying time. The problem is how long can people stay isolated before the economics and mental stress get to a boiling point.
I don’t want to sound pessimistic; we are doing an “okay” job at social distancing and self-isolation. But, it’s clear the BC Health Authorities (or other govt entity) is manipulating the numbers. How is it possible that only 16 new cases were experienced on Sunday? Also, how convenient that for three days of this week the range of positive tests were 74-77? Seems a little fishy to me. Actually, the lower the numbers begin to appear the more complacent the citizens become and then the outbreak carries on longer than needed resulting in more ill people. Love to all those being considerate to our community neighbours
@@coryh8391 nobody is manipulating data. They clearly say on the BC website who is being tested. Frontline workers, people in hotspots, and those in care facilities. Those are the numbers we are receiving.
I live in Vancouver and have the honour of participating in this every night. My grandmother and aunt are both nurses on the frontline, and my boyfriend is on the frontline too
Lovely gesture and well deserved recognition to ALL FRONTLINE PEOPLE 👏👏👏👏👏👏. Stay safe Vancouver and everyone Worldwide against the Coronavirus battle. Blessings from a Chilean woman who lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada 🇨🇱🇨🇦😘🥰💜💙👏👏👏👏
They're heroes every last one of them. And not just the healthcare workers but the janitors and the food delivery people that keep those workers fed. A sincere thank you to them all.
To every Doctor, Nurse, EMS, Grocery store worker, pharmacy workers, and all emergency and essential service God bless all of you. And to everyone isolating and physical distancing God bless you too.
Man I would love to hear this when I get off of my shift at 7, but my site is too far away from downtown to hear it. Thank you everyone who is showing support for us hospital workers 💙
Awesome video!!! I love that we are doing this every night. And I think we should continue to do this every night from now on don't you think? It really brings everyone together and puts a smile on everyone's face. Feels so united. We are all in this together for sure. Take care everyone!! ❤😊🍻
Canada and especially Vancouver is an amazing place to live, good services, good environment but the most important good people. I'm glad that I had the chance to live there.
It’s really great to see that sense of solidarity and social support for something that is a human crisis as opposed to a sports game, LOL.....this situation right now is the great leveller to show us what’s really important in life.
This is amazing.. this outshines all the bs that we feel from seeing and hearing about all the hoarders of the world. Cheers mate, hope you and everyone you care about are keeping safe.
It's moved out of downtown and is being heard in neighbourhoods all over. There are frontline people everywhere and our hearts AND full support go out to them.
I have to say, every night, when I hear this at my work, it amazingly cheer me up. Thank you so much people! Looking forward to have finally Saturday off and be part of this celebration for the first time!
I live 30min outside of Vancouver, and I am an allied health worker who has been reassigned to screen for COVID19. I am never expected to do this work, but I am happy to be doing my part. We are all making sacrifices. Thank-you for posting this as we don't experience this audible gratitude in the tri-cities. This helps boost morale! Canadian Proud!! blessings to all.
As a social worker who is still working as “essential” government personnel - I appreciate how you *almost* said “social workers.” 🤣🤣 Stay safe, my friend.
The best way to salute to the front line workers and those involved helping our Nation to fight the virus... is to STAY HOME. and if you have to get out, try stay social distance, wash hands often, and wear gloves and masks if you have them. All the best.
I know hospital workers deserve this more then all the other people but I work in a grocery store so my job is considered essential and people the past few weeks have been thanking me for coming to work and hearing this and even my neighbours do it every night makes me so happy. I love how all the cars are joining in on this too. Thank you for sharing. I live in Vancouver Island in more if a secluded area but even my neighbours do this every night at 7 and I find it amazing
Wonderful community spirit!! Great video! But you couldn’t pay me to live in downtown Vancouver today. It was the place to live back in the 80’s though.
Great idea. We here in N.C. salute you. Wait, something is missing. COWBELL! More cowbell. Seriously though, my friend who lives in Australia now is from Vancouver and he sent me this. He’s pretty proud to be Canadian especially with this act.
The most beautiful countries in the world are Canada the most respectful clean the most wonderful government and for living a good life and great education good college and I love it respect
I love this SO much - Boston/Massachusetts/nyc/the WORLD needs this kind of love - 💜thank you for sharing - made my day - here’s hoping Gov. Cuomo sees this because he will love it-
I love our city. And this country. Showing the world what we are made of. Individually doing our part, looking out for each other. Brings me to tears. Keep up the good work everyone!
I’m a vancouverite living in London and I am so proud to see this display of gratitude and unity. I wish I was there to show my support too. PS - your cat and dog are soooo cute!!
