Awesome video, nice camera work and the music was cool too. I live in Ladysmith and have hunted up and down the island. It's tough hunting, but the payoff when you score makes it worthwhile. The weather is hard on the truck and the gear and there's a fine line between trying hard to get a nice buck and driving home with hypothermia. Can't wait to see your 2015 video. Congrats on the nice buck! Most experienced hunters agree, the blacktail is the most challenging deer to hunt.
sneaky bastards, i know ; But the northern prairie white-tails hunting......SUKKKS out of 33 species of Whitetail; the biggest 'Odecolius Borealis ' [ The gene pool actually starts 'on' my farm and goes into Sask ] Can leave you tied in knots [!] for days in the north Alberta winter. trying to pick up tracks, even......
Nice black tail! People do t understand the work that has to go in in order to get a quality black tail on the island, it's not sittin in a damn stand with bait waiting for them to walk in. Video was a beauty boys!
Blacktails are a very hard animal to hunt! I hunt them here in Oregon and I think its second hardest animal to hunt behind the Roosevelt elk! Great buck and an awesome hunt! Congrats!
im glad you're not like most hunters that shoot them small spikes its pointless and let the deer get bigger, ya i can see if its your first deer and all but some people need to give there head a shake. i hunt lots and i saw the lake you were at when you driving at 6 mins. im not saying the name because then there will be more people hunting there. but my dad shot a few 4 points up in that area (5 including brow tines) but im going up there this weekend to see if we can get another big one outta there! great video :0.
@@ronharvie1913 I live in Ontario and was visiting a friend who lived there at the time. We went for a drive one evening and was amazed at the number of deer. Spent time in Campbell River and drove through the Cathedral Grove; amazing
Holy buddy! That was hardcore. Too bad they don't allow AR-15's in Canada or you could have wasted the whole pack of deers at 6:55. Other than that, good job sir.
