@@jami9976 I dunno, I am but one person, but I have already fired off a letter to The Canadian Taxpayers Association (for a start)......The Invictus Games are a different beast, personally, I wouldn't want that for the veterans, for the event to be cancelled, the vets have been through too much and worked too hard to get there, I just want those two to quit taking money away from the vets (and obviously the taxpayers in the U.K. and the Commonwealth)....that's not what it's there for. Those games need a financial audit to see where every last dime went and those two need to remove themselves from the games entirely.🇨🇦
As a resident of B.C. I am angry about this!!! I live here and I would love for someone to pay for me to stay in Whistler for a day or two. The average person can’t afford to spend any time in Whistler! I suspected it was going to cost and will cost more if the Invictus games are held here. They are NOT working Royals and they need to start paying their own bills. I happily support the Royal family coming to Canada and have since we were known as the Dominion of Canada. I’m angry 😤 and disappointed in Mr. Buble.
This Canadian is with you. Why did they choose Whistler in the first place? The most expensive playground for the rich to play in winter. It is Canada, there is winter from coast to coast with options for host cities that the actual veterans and their families could afford. I was one of many who voiced objections when they were hiding out near Victoria as private citizens, not here on royal duties but we paid their security. Toronto hosted IG just a few years ago which was used for Markle to make her debut as his girlfriend and she was inappropriate then too. When you reach out to Veterans Affairs, the agency supporting IG2025, they refuse to answer and direct you to the IG website. I might just put in a FOIA to get a detailed accounting of every penny of tax funds that go towards this scheme. If the injured veterans have to pay their own way, so should the patron of a private charity or if the organization chooses, fine but public money should be limited only to crowd control/security. They chose Whistler to stay in the lap of luxury which feeds her ego. IG is never going to be hosted by Nigeria or any other poor country but they managed to use IG to milk another country for their craven demands for attention. Don't even get me started on them interfering in our domestic issues and our First Nations.

I saw a letter that she once wrote after being told NO and it was brutal…..she wanted to adopt a dog but someone else had already adopted that dog…she wrote a letter trying to convince the shelter to take the dog from its brand new owner and give it to her and Trevor……it’s was egregious…..just on and on about how they would make better dog parents than it’s new owner…..she adopted that dogs sibling and then she demanded that the new owner bring the dog that she wanted to a meet and greet with her and the sibling dog that she adopted……it was one of the worst “demands” that I’ve ever seen….no regard for the new owner, no regard for either of the dogs, no regard for the policies of the shelter, just me, me, me, me……I couldn’t, and still don’t, believe that a grown adult would have the audacity to send a letter like that to anybody!! She WANTED a dog that already had a home and simply could NOT deal with the fact that it had already been adopted and she couldn’t have it…..the fact that they said NO to her plan to steal that dog from its owner so that she could get what she WANTED did not go over well! Disgusting, disrespectful and bullying behaviour!! If you want your company/corporation to thrive, just say NO to the grifters!!

Charities have become money scams. Instead I give money straight to people at the homeless shelter and diapers to DV centers. Im not supporting millionaires and their luxury lifestyles. Canada made donations to Invictus, so their private security would’ve come out of that and the only way to check it is to review the financial statements for it. It is pretty disgusting because they are not working Royals. Closer scrutiny is required. Invictus is going to lose big as people continue to stop participating and donating.

He gives them no money, very very little time and has made it plain that they don’t represent him as the King. Hopefully they will get to it, but it’s not their priority right now. The reason it has to be Parliament is to stop a Monarch from becoming a tyrant. And she never once visited her BBF, maid of honour/sister-in-law in the hospital when she spent years there getting heart surgery.
