Considering that the fountain is in front of the police station, this is a thumbing of one's nose at authority. I find this sort of thing healthy and necessary. Would you rather live in a country where this never happens because everybody is brainwashed into unquestioning respect for authority, or terrified of brutal punishment for the slightest infraction? I would also point out that the guy who had to actually clean it up was smiling about the prank.
Tose people are about as chill & fexible as a crystal, relax man no one got hurt & nothing was damaged & by the look of Brians face even he had a good ttime "playing" with the hose "cleaning" the fauntain. Thats a good prank & not even remotely news worthy.
Ha ha! These fountains and statues are usually dedicated to some evil toff, and people huff and puff and get self-righteous about them, so this is hilarious to see. These public monuments are a waste of money. "That which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God." (Luke 16:15)
