When I saw the headline "vandals destroy digital economy.." I thought it meant the $4 23tr, $3tr, etc which the Gov't officials glaringly loot is destroying, not only the digital economy, but the entire soul of Nigeria and Nigerians.
Why do you think so? Do you think there is no vibrant tech culture in the North? Do you know that there is a lady running a global remote tech outsourcing agency out of Kano? The tendency by some of us in the South to talk down on the north, especially when it comes to education, is misplaced. Yes, there are gaps between the south and north in terms of education and adoption of tech. However, closing these gaps is necessary to enhance and speed up the overall development of the nation. A lagging north will continue to hold back the nation. Reason, I applauded GEJ's Almajiri education program even though it was frustrated by the feudal elites. Empowering the people through tech adoption is a good thing for the South as well as the North.😮😢
The grave yard in Kano is guarded by more than 20 police patrol vehicles, but the NCC building was left to defend itself, both the grave yard and the NCC building are on the same road.
