Just a point I’ve been dying to make because I’ve heard people criticize Lisa for not teaching/helping the Toms w/ their business…. They were given such a huge opportunity on a silver platter… They wanted to focus on very surface level details, and Lisa would shut them down. Lisa knew their strength would be bringing people in, using their charm, Creating a vibe. They could have shadowed every aspect of building and running tom-tom, instead, they were butt-hurt and jumped into their own restaurant, not telling Lisa, because… They don’t want a woman, much less Lisa, to tell them what to do. Just like they shut Katie down, despite her having grown up and spent her adult life in the bar/restaurant business. It’s their egos that got in the way. LOVE your recaps So much 😊😁
Scheana backed Raquel because she wanted Katie off the show, she thought she found someone that she could influence and be the new cool girl group with. It massively backfired. Just like Sandoval, Scheanas deepest desire is to be #1

Both Toms enjoyed that “ I think she has a crush on someone else” line a little too much. I’ve been thinking more and more since his showdown with lala that Schwartz is a shitty person. He knew all along, and not only did he neglect to tell Ariana, he was enjoying keeping the secret with Sandoval- to the point of betraying his soon to be ex wife by playing the decoy. What a lame dude.

Apparently this episode was taped in “September” and Tom S. said on Howie’s podcast that he broke up with Ariana on Valentines Day in February. But idk why no one is mentioning on their recaps that Tom S. went to get his “gizz” results this episode after having a discussion with Ariana to have eggs fertilized. So if Tom was broken up with Ariana then why would they continue to have such serious conversations about her embryo’s? SMH

Watching this now, at 1:19 im just reliving how cruel and evil Sandoval was to Ariana. He dared cheat on her while she lost her fur baby, grandmom, and was going through it; meanwhile she defended him 100% from all allegations and on top of that, he dared try to plot her wrongdoings and why he “will leave her” with Schwartz and Rachel. Just what a self-centered coward. I shed a tear got all stuffed for Ariana and her heart. She is so resilient and it’s incredibly inspiring. I’ll be cheering her on in all she does, imperfections and all, till im an old lady. ❤ Ryan, for someone who was a big Sandoval fan, I really appreciate the understanding for whats happening. You never took Sandovals side (bc he hadn’t deserved it) and you championed Ariana and Katie and were a real one for the right side side of history. Huge fan. Also, love the collabs with Joleen! Hopefully we get more! 💞

My take, for what it's worth: I love Lala half the time for her candor and wit, but dislike the hypocrisy. Note to Lala, single moms will lose it if you compare your struggle; Katie needs to look inward a bit more but glad to see her happy , if your dude doesn't have your back find one that does; the shine has faded on Schwartz; real fans have loved Ariana all along because she has always been way too cool for everyone on VPL; love Scheana because she has always been the mean girl's victim and has thrived; new faves James, the spark that can go off at any time and his girl for calling him on it

Ariana’s Grandma dies, Sandoval has Rachel sleep over. Ariana’s dog died & Sandoval goes out for guys night, then makes out with Rachel outside his & Arianas home, while she’s inside mourning the lose of her baby 🐶. Ariana’s Dad dies & Sandoval goes to bulldoze shit. This is y we’re all so disgusted & disturbed. How can he have no empathy for his girl. His ride or die who always had his back. The betrayal is sickening & he shows no remorse.

Its just not in the shows best interest to lie and/or ignore the story line, if they knew then theyd be concerned about what would happen during the break between seasons and if on the off chance Ariana, Raquel or Tom decided not to sign on for a new season. Like you said, it would never happen. And the cast would love to be the one to break the news because it would solidify them in the season.

I know you like Ariana and Katie. However Ariana has been the snobbiest cast member from her first days in the show. She started off on a major lie and from then on she talked $hit on almost every cast member but it was the the things she said. She most definitely has two different faces for the show and her friends. Bottom line she isn’t a hero. She’s done the same thing and rubbed in Kristen’s face at their reunion. She slept with women and not to mention she met a guy 2 weeks after Tom got busted. Not much sympathy coming from me. The entire cast needs to read the definition of hypocrisy.
💯 agree with the “the faked the season” conspiracy not making any sense. Watching Tom and his BS is just gross- “Ariana doesn’t do nice for me”…except that she’s frozen her eggs (which is not an easy physical & hormonal process!) and is considering children bcuz she is in a relationship with a man who wants kids even though she’s said for years she doesn’t want kids. And instead of Tom actually talking to her about his concerns/feelings about that, he just ignores actually fertilizing them and starts an entire affair with her good friend.
