Thanks Iscog! I love the weathered look myself. Something about that last bit of silver dry brushing is just magic. Totally transforms the model. Thanks for your comment!

Hi Bear Vassar, I was just looking at some photos of the lost in space robots last week! Let me see what I can do! You never know, maybe that one will show up on the channel soon 🙂

This is a really awesome droid, if i hadn't just watched you buils it from scratch I'd say it was an official kit! Creating that oddly shaped head and those feet was some amazing work. I was very surprised how you managed to make it appear grungy and weathered with such a smooth body. Usually, washes require some panel lines and surface details to grab onto. Outstanding job here sir, thanks for sharing and keep on keeping on!!

That’s absolutely fantastic. I’m going to save my plastic bottles. My question is.. I use rare earth magnets for 3 inch tall Battletech game plastic figures. To make the arms and torso move. Do you think magnets would work for the arms or should I just glue everything together? Thank you!
@makingwithmark
@makingwithmark Год назад
Thanks for your comment! Yes, I do believe the magnets would work - although, I have to admit I haven't tried myself. It would probably just require some slight modifications to the way they attach, but I don't see any reasons why it wouldn't.
@earlware4322

You can also try using parts from the Bandai SW figure model kits. They use a cap and button system to attach arms and legs while still allowing mobility/posability.

Hi George. I haven't tried the Gorilla brand glue sticks. The ones I usually use are AdTech, and I think they are just the brand that my local Walmart carries! I'll have to try out the Gorilla brand. Thanks for sharing!
