I can't get over that you used a tidbit of Dokuro's "Tyrant" in the end, seeing as entering hardmode is the very first step towards actually facing Yharim

Sounds like it should be a credits theme for Calamity

The line "oh, king, why did you have to let your loved ones die..?" becomes so much more menacing now, it's like right after the player gets to hardmode they say them killing his loved ones is inevitable.

Would love to see that "Unnofical" in the title turn to "Offical".

Imagine making a game that in years time would have massive content mods that have mods extend that content mod. We already have this massive game Terraria, pile Calamity in, and then you have Infernum, Vanities, this absolute gem. It's just crazy.

holy shittt the progression at 2:03 gave me complete CHILLS its like reveling in the triumph and a little melancholy in your victory over the several eldritch beings and monsters that have tried to kill you in the past, but only then realizing what other apex predators you have just garnered the attention of by killing the big squid dude. masterful

I have a ritual when I play Calamity. Main Menu theme goes as follows: - The Tale of a Cruel World in Pre-Hardmode; - The Resurrection of a Cruel World in Hardmode; - Memories of a Cruel World post-Moonlord. Wish I could put Eulogy of the Ego in the main menu after Supreme Witch, Calamitas.

This theme when I hear it in malice and death (Don't believe me) after entering the Hard mode and defeating the wall of meat, this topic is as if they said this is just the prologue or something, while the game camera zooms out and black screen ... 0:57 when i first listened to this an hour ago, it felt so hype. a normally slow and somber melody (a tale of a cruel world) has become powerful and almost uplifting, as if the world is at your fingertips now. great song and highly underrated

the part where tyrant faded in is literally one of the best parts of this song. tyrant was my favourite track from the calamity ost and seeing it get scrapped was really sad... Thats ONLY When. I Saw a Guy Reunite it.

Heard this on the title screen and one of my first thoughts was: "Holy shit, did DM Dokuro make this?" BEAUTIFUL work by Salvati.

Holy shit you can literally see a scene at this part over here at 0:20 as you listen to it like one of those 90s vintage anime classic fantasy where the mc climbs back up after recently defeating the wall of flesh standing with his cape flapping on his back with the wind gushing on his face as the sun goes down bro this is crazy intense!!!!!

this is hands down my favourite title screen theme. Its so good in my opinion that when i was planning on starting a calamity playthrough with my friends, i was actively searching for a specific mod (this mod) to add this title screen because i forgot the name of the mod.

Captures the essence of the past perfectly and yet adds a refreshing spin - hauntingly beautiful, so raw and yet the quality is sublime. One of my favourite Calamity tracks for sure.

Hearing this music has inspired me to try to make music.

Salvati is an actual musical genius dude, everything he puts out is absolutely grooving. I know im late, but thanks to both of you (and everyone else who contributed) for this awesome mod, and the wonderful memories

This is actually one of my favorites. Salvati, man makes magic. I’ve been really engaged with the calamity soundtrack, specially the interludes(also how do you get them in game, the ones that DM Dokuro made?) and the hardmode bosses, and also the uncertain calamity album, but this one, man. I just got into art school after a long process and a harsh audition. I consider, Stained Brutal Calamity as the song that motivated me(it still does, those choirs In the background), Roar of the Jungle Dragon as the battle theme(the audition), Catastrophes before calamity(interlude #03) as the long anxious wait, and this one as the victory theme, as the ending theme, and as the beginning theme, for the next phase, as an art student. This song is poggers, I literally just discovered it a day after i got accepted. Thanks to Salvati and to you, also happy really late birthday, guess better late than never. I’m never gonna forget this song, if I ever do something successful enough(video games, art, videos on RU-vid) this is gonna get referenced as heck, as well as Markiplier, idk he makes me laugh. I had no clue this played after WOF and I had forgot to turn my music on again at that time, ruined a magical moment for myself and hit myself so hard I left a bruise. 10/10 track.

when i was playing my playthrough of death mode (still doing it right now, since i recently started it) when i defeated wall of flesh. this song matched the pain and glory of defeating death mode wall of flesh, and is probably the prelude to my many many many deaths (with 61 deaths, im bad at death mode lmao)

Wow looks like I'm late to the party, I haven't played calamity since 2020 and I'm just now starting a new run I thought I had kept up with the music, fanmade or official but I just grabbed this from steam and I'm honestly kind of in disbelief right now These are so incredibly good, like every one I've heard so far I'm a big audio guy and you honestly just made my month lol, thank you for making my return 100x better and giving me some incredible stuff to listen to

Oh shit, I knew Salvati was good, but I didnt know they were capable of making things that fit in with Dokuro's style too! I hope they make more for calamity someday.

Just finished Infernum w/ Sloome & Aetherium and I gotta say, that was a trip and a half. Playing this after it all, and seeing the Boss Checklist completely filled, scrolling through it as I played this in the background, it really made me feel not just accomplished, but it really made me excited for the future of Calamity. Y'know, when it's finished in the next 300 years.
