Just purchase the Gucci flora orchid and I love it! Although it doesn’t have banana in it I totally understand why people are saying it smells like bananas I definitely smell it too. But I trusted your review and was not disappointed!!
I LOVE vanilla! When I was a kid all I wore were vanilla lotions and oils!!! I do want to get my nose on Gucci Gorgeous Orchid, but I'm not a fan of the others in this line, too floral! 🌺🌺🌺
I love YSL libre le parfum. This is definitely a lifetime fragrance for me. Not gourmande, but a great sophisticated vanilla fragrance. All the notes blend beautifully together, with saffron, a bit of lavender, and vanilla bourbon being the most notable.

The Nomade Naturelle line is very different from the regular Nomade line. I love Nuit d'Egypte past the top notes. And the Jasmine Naturelle Intense is soooo vanillic.
I smell mango in the opening for some reason and I love that. I just bought it for this reason. I'm just curious if anyone else picks this up? It's so prominent to me!
I’m not sure if this would be considered designer or niche but Nette’s Thé Vanille is my current favorite. It’s unique and herbal, definitely not gourmand and there’s something addictive about it
Hey Lauren, if you haven't already you've got to get your nose on the Mind Games perfume line. I found them at Nieman Marcus. All if the bottles are chess pieces, and I swear to you every one blew me away. Especially Grandmaster!
Hi! Came to FULLY AGREE WITH YOU! I only trust a few fragrance girlies’ noses and opinions-not because we have the same taste but because I feel like they smell things the same way I do-good or bad. They seem to notice the same things. And you’re DEAD ON with this one! Brighter, like citrus but NOT citrus, tingly and airy Goddess without the lavender. It’s like they used the same vanilla, but did a little swap of the lavender with the “orchid” and ozonic notes. It’s so nice! And girlie…I might like it more than Goddess! The same, but different? I can’t decide. I feel likeee they can used interchangeably, and instead of wondering “which one am I in the mood for” you could easily just say “which bottle matches my outfit better,” “which bottle is more pleasing to me today” because they’re like cousin frags. So good. I knew I could trust miss Lauren Mae!!!!!! ❤
Hi Lauren. I went to Sephora to test this out on me to see how it smells and actually I do pick up banana, but look at it this way, it does not smell like a sweet candy banana. It smells more like a slightly unripe banana it’s really lovely and smells sort of tropical and vanilla to me but I do get that unripe banana which I like very much it’s different, smell it with that in mind and see if you pick it up and let us know. sounds like the ozonic base note doesn’t feature too prominently? since it’s similar to burberry goddess which I have, I think I’ll get D&G devotion as my next designer frag 🤔 thanks for sharing your thoughts! ❤

I haven’t tried the Gucci Gorgeous Orchid but I’m wondering if it smells similar to Vanilla Planifolia from the Chloe Atelier des Fleur line bc it also has vanilla orchid and smells just like a sweet green, not fully ripe banana. It’s sweet and slightly powdery. Very pretty. I need to get my nose on this one!!

The Nomade Line is utterly different than the Nomade Naturelle line. I love it all, but this jasmine vanilla scent is worth a wear, even if you aren't into Nomade.
By the way, have you tried the Burberry goddess intense yet I sprayed that on myself as well at Sephora and I have to say, although I thought I would love it, I am not a big fan. It has very strong, medicinal lavender scent in it to my nose, which stays on the skin throughout the dry down, so it’s a no go for me and the original is really my favorite vanilla perfume.
Have you tried Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Forte Bosca? I really love the Aqua Allegoria line, and I've heard really positive things about it on other youtuber channels.
I have never cared for the vanilla scents, ever. They give me a headache at times. I wish i could like them as there are so many wonderful scents you share containing vanilla. Woe is me!
Hi I love Chloe and a few layering combos I’ve tried: Olympea, Musk 12, L’Interdit, For Her EDT, Libre, Club De Nuit Woman, Gucci Bloom.. and some Chloe flankers. Hope that helps some!

I can't get over that Gucci packaging.... looks cheap! I'm in the UK and had my first trip into a selfridges perfume section, there was so much to smell 🤩
I’ve seen so many aesthetics over time and yes … these Gucci bottles are like an overpriced cheap fragrance at an alternative gift shop in 2007. I literally hate it so much 😂
I’m waiting for a banger to come out! I’m getting bored with all these new releases. Nothing special. I do love Devotion and YSL Le Parfum. Also love Goddess but it doesn’t last on me at all… If you have bath and body sweetheart cherry and the OG black opium try that combo. It’s better than the new one.
I own Gucci bloom Ambrosia “Red bottle and it’s the best one! Tuberose and Iris sooo intoxicating and delicious! I can’t stand any beach fragrances at all. I sold my libre intense, and that was the only one I liked. I hate lavender in fragrances. Yuck so disgusting. Coconut, ginger, lavender, pineapple, I can’t stand NONE of those notes at all! So basic to me. The closest sunscreeny fragrance I own is PDM “Safanad” because of the ylang ylang, but it’s BEAUTIFUL because it pairs with the orange blossom and sweetens it up so it’s not that disgusting beach fragrance. I’m sorry, but who wants to smell like that? When I’m on the beach that’s one thing, but if I’m not on the beach, I don’t want to smell like sunscreen. No thanks.
