I can't remember the first time I have entered Un'Goro but I do remember my best trinket :) Joshua, thank you for the visit and sharing your memories with us. I hope I will talk to you soon - I have many videos of this kind and making even more. Kind regards, Meisio
I remember fucking around in Tanaris as a 13-14 year old not really understanding anything. And a guy about ten levels higher was standing on the ramp. I asked what was down there, and he just said “Don’t go down there. You’ll die.” I didn’t listen. That was my first Un’goro Experience.
I know that, once again, it looks like I'm 3 years late to the comments, but this is by far my favorite place in WoW. I spent a very long time in ungoro crater with my blood elf rogue, and seeing this again after all this time, man. It's nostalgia kicking me in the face.
The strongest single memory i have from the game was the patch that put weather into the game. I happened to be a mid 50's feral wondering around killing shit....and then it started to rain. So without really thinking i went and stood under a tree for "shelter", in the mist a devilsaur pathed past (just outside of aggro range) and ignored me. I stood there for ages until the rain stopped just absorbed in the moment. Some time later blizz removed the weather (never knew why) i stopped playing for years then. Always end up back though...
Un'Goro Crater was always a interesting zone. Gotta love it when you're minding your own business doing quests, then all a sudden a Devilsaur shows up out of nowhere and kills you. Good times. ;P Can't wait to do all this again on Blizzard's Classic server.
First time I had a hard time finding the path from Tanaris.. I remember tumbling down the cliff.. Instant death, long before you could res at the boneyard.. Took me a frustrating while to get my corpse.. Ohh.. The memories..
@@burakatas4782 Not at all budy, the player base itself filled it with bots and pay to win systems, everything is min maxing and pvp players dont even pvp, they rush to the points with the intention of ending the match as fast as possible and farming more glory points. Also the economy is about to crash But you can still give it a try if those aspects of the game do not bother you or play retail when Shadowlands comes
This was the place I acquired my first epic item. It was a world drop from one of the tar pit creatures. I was a druid questing with 2 paladains. Eventually we went out separate ways. 2 minutes later the taran icebreaker drops. I was just sat there for a least 2 or 3 minutes with my mouth open catching flys. As a 2h mace it would have been amazing for the paladins so I was kinda pleased they left lol. Druids can use them too but far from optimal. I did ponder selling it on the AH but wheres the glory in that!! So i equipped it and flew straight to ironforge to stand proudly on the mailbox outside the auction house to /dance. EPIC!!!!
I remember my first epic. It was the Gutripper dagger. It dropped off a pirate just outside of Booty Bay on the beach. I sold it for 144 gold. At the time, my warrior was level 40-something. It was an incredible amount of gold back then. Back in Vanilla, epic items were actually super rare and epic. Once you got rolling in a good 40-man team every week that could farm MC and BWL, then the epics started flowing. Many, many people would stand around in Org and just show off their gear. People wanted to look at it, too. No transmog back then, and being a raider actually meant something. Being part of a guild and committing to it.
One of the most memorable zones for me due to the terror I initially had entering this zone. The mystery, the feeling of death looming, and the beauty of the crater. I know I’ll probably never experience the same magic I did in 2004/2005 but god damn, I’m glad I have the memories.
I'm pretty sure he just confused the type of music. Can you please be more gentle with the words? I appreciate the feedback, but leaving it like this is not going to be taken into consideration by anyone. Now, what's annoying? I don't understand.
This place always gave me a very Primordial feel. As if it was the Titans testing grounds on Azeroth. While also being full of the Old gods influence and the natural forces of the Elements
Un'Goro Crater is a very interesting zone. The dinosaurs, silithid and other beasts and a lack of any real civilization in t was a cool idea. I remember coming here to make the key to Scholomance at the very top of the volcano in the center of the zone.
Meisio heh thanks, it's pretty comprehensive already... Maybe Searing Gorge, or Swamp of Sorrows. Oh and Arathi Highlands, lots of good themes and time spent there. Thanks for all your work!
Hey, thank you for the encouragement :) I am working! Don't know how great though :) Almost finished with Felwood editing, tonight I am going to export it / in the morning publish it. And then I am starting The Hinterlands! Thank you for dropping by :)
Definitely one of my favorite zones, right next to my other fav, the dunes of Tanaris. Had a Tauren hunter, and crazy ambition, so I worked it until I finally got the giant black devilsaur as a pet (!) It was a great tank, but I soon discovered I couldn't show him off in town as everyone around me lagged out downloading the model.
There you are minding your own business, and suddenly a giant, elite Devilsaur appears out of the mists, and curbstomps you in 2 seconds. Oh my PTSD.. Thank you, Meisio, my Vanilla WoW nostalgia is in full overload mode. So many good memories and emotions of days gone by...
Soon a gameplay here I hope. It's not going to be belf sp, but it's going to be Horde at least. Thank you for watching and welcome to the channel Ivan.
Spent a lot of late nights soloing and grinding here, farming mats for leatherworking and bags always got full from those crystals. plus getting Link's quest, in reference to Zelda, I can't wait to wander thru Vanilla again w/ classic
I wasn't a LW, but I spent a lot of time here too, helping my friend with Skinning & Leatherworking professions so he could make those Devilsaur pieces which sold with a lot of gold. That was a way for us to get gold for our epic mounts. :) Thank you for sharing your memories with us and welcome to the channel! Kind regards, Meisio
I am glad you like it! By the way, I am showing these _walks_ as direct feedback coming from you guys. Some viewers told me that they wold like me to remake familiar paths through the zones. I though it is a great idea and I have implemented it. Sure, it's not perfect, but I am doing my best :) So any feedback, _positive_ or _negative_ is welcomed. And thank you for your feedback. Looking forward to hearing more from you! :) Kind regards, Meisio
We meet again on monday meisio) I watch this channel from monday till friday like 9-10 hours in a raw)) than weekend and I'm here again thank you for ur job
And what was the fastest way to reach Un'Goro Crater from Tanaris as a paladin? Mount up/bubble ride and jump. Every damn time. I think that place was missing a FP for a very long time but I could be wrong. Damn, it was back in 2004-2005. :D
Thanks Ian :) I am delighted you like it. There are similar movies with all Vanilla Azeroth zones on my channel. I hope you have the time to check them out! :) Lets talk again, shall we? :) Kind regards, Meisio
Sad that I enjoy this music so much, yet when I played wow last month (first time in 2 years), it just felt so boring/exhausting. I guess another year or two of music only for me.
