Hello! Join me as I give further opinions on the latest Les Indemodables release Vanille Havane Coeur De Oud. Please enjoy! #cologne #fragrance #perfume #nichefragrance #nicheperfume #niche #lesindemodables #newrelease #oud #Oudh
I love the original Vanille Havane and would love to see some more smoky aspects added to it. I also struggle with Patchouli Noisette-it smells like Promise to me for the first couple of hours. Cheers!
Thanks for your review on this. I’m a fairly new subscriber, lurking for some time now. This one caught my attention as a fan of the house. The price is hefty though, and no way to sample as you mentioned. Your review helped to counter my fomo. I will stick to the regular Vanille Havane for now 😅
I’m all oud-ed out! I do appreciate the brand though. They are great ☺️ it’s good you’re sharing your thoughts on this- it’s a LOT of money for people to blind buy 🙏🦆❤️
@@RichMitch Nope, it's a too risky blind buy for me. Vanille havane was already too strong for my nose and makes me sneeze everytime I smell it AND I'm super picky with ouds 😅
I'm not sure how you can say they're the best niche at the moment when you acknowledge the last few releases were weaker for you, including this one. I would also have to disagree on the creativity side, for me it's expensive formulas to realise very dull accords. I know their gimmick is their materials sourcing but I'm still waiting for them to do something abstract and avant garde whose aesthetic beauty has nothing to do with naturals even if they're in there.
I think they're making classic perfumes with classic accords using superior materials and, as such, they appeal to me in ways that most other niche brands don't
@RichMitch well, I'll take a YSL Paris made with better materials then over Rose de Jamal for example. (And actually on the topic of that, I don't think the percentage of rose absolute they state can be possible because of methyl eugenol restrictions. I wonder sometimes whether there's an implicit dilution because you absolutely can't smell 5.5% rose abs and that'd be bloody hard to hide normally.)
