Just happened to stumble upon your channel. Instant subscription. Good info. Just designed a vanity and cabinet for my step daughter. Wish I'd seen this vid first. I would have incorporated cubbies Last comment.. wife made me stop and design first too I normally just cut and adjust on the fly.. planning definitely helps.
This is AWESOME! Such an awesome thing for a father to make his daughter. Most men aren't even in their daughter's lives anymore unfortunately! Awesome awesome awesome! Would you ever consider making any to sell? Or making kits to put together yourself? What scares me about it is using a router to cut out drawers and just making drawers in general.

I too would love plans. My daughter wants this except not as many drawers. We've never done drawers so this is a great into post for us! I'd love to know what program you're using as well. I hand draw sketches if I dont buy them.
I made a copy of the completed cabinet by selecting the entire thing and doing a Control-C ten Control-V. Then i pulled the components out of the copy one by one and laid them out on a 48 inch by 96 inch rectangle. I kept moving the components around until I got the best fit.
I know it has been a while since you made this but i want to recreate this, do you still have the plans for it and the measurements that I could follow?
I actually get asked this a lot. Unfortunately I lost the plans due to a computer crash. However, I'm thinking of remaking the plans because so many people asked for them. If I ever get around to remaking the plans, I'll let you know.
