Vanlife Diaries | Today I Took A Cold Plunge With A View
Today I opted to do something a little wild and fun.... In order to cool off I hopped in a snow melt river and settled into my campsite in a van down by the river. But I also enjoyed making food in the van and just taking in these breathtaking views. Come along and see what my day looked like.

Carrying your meal from Mountainhouse seems smart because that way you don’t have to carry eggs that can crack as your van shakes. I like that you were able to get a couple of different breakfasts out of this. And then you don’t have to buy all of the meat. Also this seems like an economical choice.

yes!! Absolutely... portion is important for breakfast because i don't eat a ton in the morning... but being able to have something that i can use for a couple days and it seals and makes no mess is so BIG.... and you are right.. if i bought all the ingredients in this not only would the portions be wrong but also i would spend more.....

Such a great way to have something personal sized but yummy!!! Not to mention using the crusts I tried these are thin crusts so it isn't overly doughy

I like each differently!! The breakfast tacos I made are just easier as a grab and go.. but for cold mornings when I am super hungry I like the biscuits and gravy.. it is more filling but i love it warm!!!

I would do that with a friend..... i usually don't put myself in cold situations unless there are people around... never know what the body might do...

Never thought about the benefit of your fridge when it comes to Mountain House meals. I usually just eat the pouch but I also don't always want to have the entire breakfast one early, I am more of a coffee and small breakfast guy then a bigger lunch. My wife and I agree that we don't like feeling weighed down in the morning when we are camping because it makes us feel lazy. So small breakfast, activities then big lunch. Never beer til evening. Good tip.

Yes... especially solo traveling this is so handy because i don't often want to have a HUGE portion of anything.. so i can cook it up, throw it in the fridge and have 2 meals instead of one.... that includes with Mountain house!!! It gives me great breakfast options with only 1 prep time!

I don't always take the plunge but on this day I was like YES let's do this!! I also sometimes will jump into a waterfall here and there just for fun!! The thing is you never know until you try it.... perhaps if you are nervous doing it with a friend would be best!!! PEER PRESSURE in the best of ways...lol.. but also safety buddy!!

Oh my goodness, you have to try it at least once. One of my friends who runs suggested it to me because I was having some problems with one of my calf muscles after I strained it and she told me a cold plunge would help and now I swear by them.

It was pretty chilly...... It was one of those things that because of the heat of the day my upper body was warm but sitting long my lower body was soooo cold...lol..

Do they have the shoes in mens sizes? My wife and I enjoy going out on the boat with the kids and grandkids but I have been looking for some new shoes that have a sole like these. I don't need to slip and fall, I already have a hard enough time getting around these days.

Thanks for keeping it classy when it comes to showing yourself in a bathing suit. I really don’t like the channels that capitalize on sex appeal because I feel like they’re exploiting the women. And some of them just look really uncomfortable. I watch a lot of different channels and some of those channels I don’t really connect with as a result of them being overly exploited. I do like a couple of the channels like Kara and Nate. Even when they are in bathing suits, they don’t overly sexualize it. I would say that you are a lot like them in the way that you share your information, but you have way more into museums and things like that and they do more challenges. I stopped watching a lot of channels though because they would just show their booty and bathing suits and I’m not interested in seeing women be exploited. I also like that you look confident no matter what you’re doing. I saw that someone made a comment yesterday. It wasn’t very nice and you sent them straight. I appreciate that you stood up for all of us women because no one should be commenting on our bodies.

I have daughters and granddaughters and I feel terrible that role models in todays world are not wearing clothes in most of their videos or on stage. My granddaughter wanted to mimic her idols and we had to tell her that the clothing wasn't age appropriate and there are bad people out there. Telling a kid that they don't understand. So thank you for showing you can do things without also showing so much that little girls can relate to you for being tasteful. My wife and I appreciate your level of integrity in so many of your posts but this also shows that you are aware of the importance of not sexualizing something like this. Little girls can look up to you in so many ways. Our granddaughter has been watching you and mentions she would like to do what you do. Much better than looking up to girls who don't wear clothes all the time.

I think that Bunny always sets herself apart from the other channels because she talks about different things. But I also appreciate the fact that I could show this to my mom and she wouldn’t feel like she needs to click away or tell me about style choices. I was watching something the other day and sharing it with her and a girl walked across in a song and it didn’t matter what the girl was saying after that point my mom did not take her seriously because her butt was out. I’m really confident in the way that I look. My sisters are as well however we’ve always taken into consideration that our family is more traditional so I appreciate people like Bunny have mentioned that they acknowledge that they want their channels to be for everyone and so she doesn’t use language and she also doesn’t overly sexualize things that are as simple as a bathing suit. I can share this with my Abuela and she would enjoy the video just as much as my mom or me. So thank you Bunny for bringing everyone together to be able to enjoy something without having to have weird conversations about something as simple as a swimsuit.

glad i can be someone they look forward to seeing online and I hope through seeing the videos they feel empowered as young women to follow their dreams and see the world!!! i know so many kiddos who want to be grown before they are actually grown and I agree there are a lot of creeps out there who take advantage... i hope seeing my videos they can see a different kind of way they can be in the world!!

I want an air fryer so bad, but my power station only goes up to 400 watts. Do you know of any that would work with my power station? I love my air fryer pizzas and I'm really sad about it.
