yes, ducks with the Canadian geese. We have so many more than we used to now that we are not having such bad winters as in the past. They don't feel the need to leave in the winter or if they do, they don't go as far south. I love watching the Geese and ducks up here too. We have a big conservation type area with a big pond near my town and there are so many birds, even swans. And turtles too. I was out Ubering today and stopped my car to save a turtle who was trying to cross the road with cars on both sides. Luckily there was a lull in the traffic so I could stop and pick him up. He thought I was going to hurt him though and started kicking like crazy at the air. I wish I could have taken him home with me. I used to have turtles and frogs when my kids were growing up. Those are Canada Geese (often mistakenly called Canadian Geese). In Bend (OR) where I live, these birds stick around most of the year since people feed them. Two geese (I assume they were a couple lol) stayed in my back field all winter...didn't even take cover in the snow. They just sat there. Anyway, a few of these aren't too bad...but too many in one place and you won't have any safe places to step. 💩The ones you saw here were _surprisingly_ docile. Here, they come for you!
