I keep seeing all of the sad things that are happening with the hurricane and the damage and I realized just how many things that you carry with you that make you prepared for not having connection to the outside world. I was talking to my dad about getting a few things for my Apartment just in case the power went off, but I could see having something like this. Maybe the smaller one could also be helpful. I never thought when I started watching your channel and seeing the travel that I would learn something that could help me just to survive so I thank you so much for always sharing these kinds of things also. I would’ve never thought about this otherwise.
I think considering preparedness is something most of us do not do effectively and until i was on the road i never would have considered portable power or solar. However I suggest a single panel at least in addition to a power station for every home just as a back up for various scenarios..... also having the fridge is not a must but it is a huge helper... also a water filter of some kind and always have a little extra bottled water in your car as well as your home
Thank you Bunny for speaking about being prepared on your channel. I know you do it for your home and your van but more people should listen. We are from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and we have seen first hand over the past few days and weeks the impact of those who are isolated and do not have anything like these items you mention. Please keep telling people about how the solar works it could be saving some of our neighbors
Absolutely!! I am so sad for all those currently dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane and those who are in the current path.. it is terrifying!!!
I do like the green color but it being in the front i never really see it in the back to add to the style of what i have... so i am pleased with this one also.. i like that they do have those kinds of options though
Yes I agree.. i have found ways around it with other containers but sometimes you end up with more than the containers can hold.. so this is so much better
I can see how they are very useful in what ever situation- the new one allowing for the taller containers definitely a plus. With each system the following steps it up a notch. Another informative and enjoyable video 👍
I am so happy that they seem to listen to the people like us on what would work and what would be of use to us all... finding a solution that solves the two unit power draw is nice!!! I think this would be a reasonable size for most people in vans and is very efficient! More to come!
Enjoy how you share these with the information right on the screen. No one else is doing that that I have seen. Good job, always ahead of the pack in my opinion on all you do. You certainly set yourself apart from others!
Thank you so much for noticing!! I try to make the videos better and better for the viewers so they can better understand the products or locations I am visiting!! I always am trying to continue to improve!
Looked up the price and well priced item. Good suggestion and seeing that you have used this brand for so long makes me realize it is solid not just by you showing it but by you continuing to use it.
Yes the Setpower price point is nice... that was one of the initial reasons I liked them they were quality but on a budget!! They last a long long long time.. in fact I gifted my first big one to someone because it was so large it wouldn't work when I changed my build and they still have it!!! Also I appreciate you noticing my loyalty to the brand.. it is for very good reason! QUALITY!
Good size. We have been considering putting a freezer storage in our RV for additional supplies. Currently we have a nice standing dual zone which is more similar to a household refrigerator unit. But we thought about an additional freezer for more supplies we enjoy or for things we pick up along the way. We have a storage space under the RV which might work for it. So we will consider this one.
This cardigan sweater olive color & the t-shirt camo colors are good color choices for you on camera. I like that Set Power fridge 😊. I need to check.their website out. I need for it to currently fit in a Nissan Versa car trunk.
I'm so excited you reviewed this refrigerator. I have the same exact one. I wanted one with dual zones. I'm headed out for my first trip tomorrow. I'm so excited. Your reviews are always so helpful. I called customer service and hung up before they answered because I didn't have a question after all. They called me back to make sure all was okay. Wow!!! Great service. The question is had was the freezer section wasn't getting cold. They told me that with dual zones, one side will get to the set temp, and then the other one would cool down to the set temp. Thank you again for your review!! 😂❤
This is exactly what I need!!! Because I am on a very specialized diet, a lot of my foods are only available online and need to stay frozen, but I also want to carry fresh foods like my almond milk and carton eggs (like Egg Beaters) that are tall and fresh fruits and vedge. I travel for work, so I’m on the road a lot certain times of the year. Thanks for doing such a thorough review and sharing with us.
This would be a fair size for those things!! And not so bulky it cannot fit in a regular space!! That is the best part!! Looking forward to adding this to the van after all these videos wrap up so everyone can see how I use it along the way!!
Love Setpower! I have had an AJ30 for about 9 months (home use and camping) and love it! Seeing this review makes me want to save for an upgrade! Happy and safe travels, Bunny!
You had me at the milk and creamer standing upright!! I am definitely going to add this to my van. I have the Alpicool C20. While its done its job; its too small and sometimes depending on the items in the cooler, does not always stay closed properly. Another good point with this Set Power. I appreciate you and the reviews. 😉😁
I have to say the upright storage is definitely something that is going to be a huge game changer for me. I have been having to take things out of packaging and put them into other containers for so long and sometimes that works out and sometimes that doesn’t depending on what I find. so this is a relief to say the least
I have a Set Power, the one with 2 separate lids. I think it's 37 qt. I love it. I wish I could tell you how much power it uses, but I've used it only once on a 5 day trip and I don't remember. I have only 600 watts and I charged continuously. You wouldn't believe how much it holds. And ice stayed ice!
I have the 45L and I am excited to use it for my first 2 month trip next month. It will definitely change alot. I can eat healthier and control my ingredients...I can halve full sized items in mine. Both sides....
Bunny bunny bunny! I really want to get this while it's on sale. If I use this with a power station do I need to be concerned about the wattage? I have a bluetti 1800. I'm new to this and buying some things for preparedness or possibly vanlife. Thanks!
I loved this review! But was confused a bit by you indicating ONLY the percentage of power used on YOUR battery pack. Does your unit have 1,000 or 1500 battery capacity or ? This would help viewers who use smaller battery packs know how long it might last in their smaller units. It would have been helpful for you to have described that this fridge used 400 watts or another figure for example so that people can make a determination on its total use in a day and see if it matches their battery packs. You did a great job! Thank you for doing this review!
This is 1000 W power unit. I indicated the percentage that is being used and also the draw of how much is pulling off so that people could figure out for themselves if they think that it would be something they’d be interested in. I would not recommend a smaller battery than 1000 W for any kind of refrigerator because throughout the year, especially during the warmer months your battery almost twice as quickly as the heat creeps into your van
I always empty it to test it because I want it to be warmer on the inside so it doesn’t have anything to insulate it and make it feel cooler because that can make it have a false amount of time to show it actually cooling off and the amount of power it takes. Typically especially if you have frozen items already inside it cools off much faster, so I always take everything out
