How do we keep our dogs cool in hot weather? Vanlife uk, living full time in a van and motorhome Vlog of a guy from London, living in a van finds his sole-mate and falls in love with her. #vanlife #dogs #livinginavan
Thanks Kevin for taking the time to comment. Really encouraging to have nice comments and for you guys to give your feedback. We have some more fantastic locations coming up.
Hello Sioux and Mark, brilliant vlog thanks for sharing and answering some questions regarding vanlife with pets. Wow never realised campervans and motorhomes could reach those temperatures inside its insane in the UK. Thank you again guys ,would love to actually meet up with you someday , but until then God bless you both and keep you safe , Love from Paul and Denise x 🤗.... ✌... 🙏...
I'm sure are paths will cross soon enough. As for the temperatures inside, Mark is lucky that Dylan likes the warmth (he was shivering in my van last year at 20°) crazy dog. On the other hand Zeb can handle the cold much better and being black the sun doesn't suit him. We still have a few more of your questions to answer, which we will get round to. ❤️
😆 🤣 😂 I love the far north. Spent most my life climbing all over the world, used to do weekend trips in winter to cairngorms or the Ben from London. Got back to London at 4am to sleep in car and start work at 7am 😆 hate the midges now though. I got used to them, when I visited regularly. I feel like I home when there. Odd cos I grew up in London.
I'd say it depends on where and when your going to use it. Summer in the UK or sunny country buy a Dometic fridge. Sioux bought a coolmatic CRE80 £680 @ 80litre. She has 320w solar 280amp batteries and it's perfect and free to run all summer. She turns it off towards autumn as the sun won't run it much longer and it goes back on end of March. I have a 3 way gas, 240, 12v that runs on gas almost all year and it uses about £1 every 24 hours. If you need a fridge all year round, it's a better option. 3 way will only really work on 12v when the engine is running, I have wired mine to run off 230v from an inverter but again I need a lot of solar for it to run as it uses 15amp hour. With 480w solar it was fine in Spain but can only be used in uk with care because if the sun goes in the batteries don't last long. I'm running lithium as well. My advice go demetic and leave food outside in a plastic box in winter. Hope that helps.
@@Roadshome yes helps alot thank you I got a small 240v under counter fridge but for some reason my ecoflow suddenly decided it doesn't like it? Could be the fridge tempted to buy a newer version and try it as they are not that expensive 🫰
@LT35story a friend of mine ran a normal house fridge off 560amp batteries and 640w solar on a bus. He had to turn his off over winter as well. If I could afford a demetic fridge myself that's what I'd get. But my fridge is fitted to the motorhome. If I don't replace it with something of similar size it would decrease value if I wanted to sell and also look awful 😅 😕
@@Roadshome yes I can understand that got to match the motorhome, I'll get another one new more efficient see how it goes for the money, if it don't work Ill just flog it thanks 😁
