Some really nice little beaches there - white sands and crystal clear blue waters. If it was warmer it would be perfect. My great, great, great (?) grandmother apparently lived on the little island off of Bosta Beach (Little Bernera). Managed to go there a couple of years ago and take my Grandmother to visit the island. The boat company that took us there told us that island had the Queens favourite beach on it too :P A pretty cool place to explore for the day - think we also found some relatives grave in that cemetery at the start.

That black house where you were scared to go in is a hostel that you can stay in ! Heck yes! The scenes in Scotland are unreal! But I have to say, I love that you guys keep comparing all these amazing beaches to our beaches in Australia! We just finished traveling the South Coast of Australia and they are absolutely amazing! (althogh, we are definitely biased because we live here!). Come and do a road trip of Australia in Custard with us!!

couldnt agree more with this, people just dont realise how much they are destroying the wild outdoors with all this advertisement, i remember being on what is now the nc500 years ago you could pull up and get the feeling of being miles from anywhere, not now, traffic from start to finish, more to the point i thought scottish tourism had asked people not to travel to the hebrides during these times unless you are booked into campsites or b & b's etc., but no wild camping during these times, just seems a bit disrespectful to ignore this, as the islands are a fantastic place and when all this is over, go there as much as you like👍
