VANLIFE - The Lake District or The Highlands...Which is best?

In this fast paced episode, we travel to The Lake District and camp with friends in our converted camper vans, on the edge of Ullswater Lake, at Pooley Bridge, after breaking the journey and catching up with more vanlife friends in Castleton, The Peak District.
The lake was a playground for SUP boarding and kayaks and Waterside House Campsite was an awesome location for a campfire with friends. It was also another welcome break in our continued journey North through Scotland and into the Highlands via Glasgow city.
The A82 from Loch Lomond to Glencoe was insanely beautiful and a lakeside wild camp on the outskirts of Fort William was our resting point before continuing on our journey....

Just watched the Cornwall videos. Now you're in my other favourite place, Scotland. Glencoe is amazing, parked up under The Pap of Glencoe before. We went, Loch lomond, Oban, Tobermory, cut across to Glencoe, Fort William and Fort Augustus. Then up Loch Ness to a great camp at Foyers. Ben Nevis and finally back to Loch lomond. All in a week. Rushed but I'd do it again tomorrow. Happy travels. Love ya videos.

Evening everyone. I am going to Anglesey in mine tomorrow. Just for the night , lakes is fantastic. I like waterside site, as I swim, fish and paddle board so ullwsater is right outside your can , it’s ace. But .. just so busy in summer in the lakes, whereas Scotland is quieter . And the scenery, highlands , Skye, argyle, it’s amazing .. but midges!! The beasties.. so hard to call. Lakes is only and hour and 20 for us. But I really love Scotland.. gaz.

Amazing vlog - looks like you had a great time and some decent weather - what a great idea to go by water into Pooley Bridge - must remember that next time we go! Liked the look of the kayak - seems to fold much smaller than my SUP and handy when you want to just cruise around. Enjoyed watching. Advice on batteries at the moment I run on 2x100ah do i stick to2 batteries or go 1x w200ah

I had the same dilemma. Ended up swapping the 2x100 ah AGM’s for 1x200 ah Lithium and saved loads of space AND loads of weight! 🙌
