When I was young, I listened to a lot of Khmer songs till I grew older and figured that most of them are copied songs. Since then I was so scared to listen or show it to my international friends. I used to have a Chinese friend asked me why do Cambodian singers love to copy Chinese’s music? To be honest with you all, I didn’t know how to respond. I was embarrassed until I found Vannda. I’m never afraid to show my foreign friends our music. I’m so proud of being Khmer. I love my people

I have never ever listened to any podcast before, this is my first time listened to it and it's so worth it. (Some parts literally made me tears up for some reasons).This really making me changes a lot of things, especially my perspectives. And I think that I've upgraded myself to a whole different level and teach me a lot things after listened to this. I think this video is really really helpful and I think everyone should watch it. I was hesitant to listen to this podcast because of its length but I’m so glad I changed my mind. Listening from America as a Khmer American woman in the mental health field, it’s refreshing to hear raw discussions about depression, anxiety, betrayal and life experiences in general ❤
This young man handles situation like a man. His masculinity is something to inspire, a man can show his anger and temper. He didn't call himself a tiger or inspiring person that's why he is interesting and not boring. He deserves the fame he got.

I appreciate and look to the fact that baown Vannda is truly humble. He is a hard worker. He puts all ego to the wayside. He speaks from experience and an intellectual mind. He gives advice to each of us to stay meek, keep humbleness at the forefront of our behavior, show respect so you can earn respect, be of love. Now, being meek & humble is not weakness BUT a superpower that gains much respect from all around. Vannda had many words of wisdom to share. He gives credit where credit is due. He speaks in a pride of Cambodia but with humbleness. We, as a Khmer people, have worth and bring value to the world. Music has no boundaries indeed. Remember: confidence without arrogance.

Listen to Vannda. I feel he is so mature much more than many people at his age. He goes through a lot of struggles featured in his songs. That makes his songs have different flavors from other artists. I'm supporting him to make more progress for Cambodia.
