This is my position guys. Feel free to challenge with your own thoughts. Firstly we didn’t come from atoms clashing together randomly until it finally worked somehow. This is refuted due to the fine tuning argument to the universe that would make such atomic behavior impossible with the notions of something out of nothing being illogical. Theres also the moral dilemma that comes from a non intelligent approach to human beginnings. Vocabulary and observation to life around us disagrees with the life without an intelligent designer to the intelligent design. As for evolution. It’s areas of reach are still in question. I believe it to an extent but not as far as Brian and others. I’m no scientist obviously and I don’t claim to be. I only give my opinion on matters but I don’t see the evolutionary benefit of a sea creature that dies from being on land too long to becoming a land creature that dies to being in water too long when that would essentially detrimental to it. (Edit: some have replied and said this is irrelevant due to evolution being neither bad or good but I would say that whether the mutation is bad or good it requires a partner to mate with a creature with this life threatening mutation for the continuation of its species) Along with the difficulty hardline evolution holders have with explaining the Bombardier beetle. (Most people have ignored this sadly) And the order of its evolutionary design. Happy to hear interesting responses to this beetle question and how it logically could have to evolved to become the way it is. Thanks for watching guys and we are allowed to disagree. Ultimately it’s healthy to have open discussion. And if I’m wrong or right. It doesn’t change much about my life and shouldn’t for yours also! God bless and thank you! - Nogla P.S. I’ve also come to learn than evolutionist require just as much faith as I do to believe in my religion as they do to believe in evolution. As a lot of evolution especially the further you go back in time requires more theory than fact. So evolution is a theory like I stated. There is evolutionary facts, and then there’s theories. Because evolution can only assume the evolutionary line of humans. There’s also people confused as to what degree of evolution I agree and disagree with and lots of people replying don’t seem to understand the nuance between animals adjusting to habitats over time. And humans coming from worms in the sea who came from atoms out of nowhere. And that I can’t reply to everyone or even read everything because honestly my life needs to go on and this becomes less valuable use of my time as I spend more on it as it’s not a discussion that will be resolved in a RU-vid comment section hahah I’ve also noticed a huge correlation between atheist/anti-religion folks and holding the hardline evolutionary stance. And I will say. Some of ye are very easily offended that I have a different opinion. Sorry but it’s obvious by how much you’ve to insult to get your point across. (Edits due to not being able to respond to everyone so I’m doing blanket reflections)
Omg, the mad lad actually made a proper post for this. Can't wait for the comments to balloon up to like 200. Before that happens though. "Christianity and Science are opposed, but only in the same sense as that which my thumb and forefinger are opposed - and between them, I can grasp everthing." - Sir William Bragg Though ya'll might enjoy the quote, do with it as you wish. Also hi Nogla.
Evolution can be shown in real time. People have selectively bred animals for a long time. Someone used the short life span of flies to evolve them to be able to drink thought increasingly thick pieces of paper. Only the ones with the longer mouth parts could breed and thus they evolved to have longer mouth parts over several fly lifespans.
I eat taco bell, and my ass explodes. if I ate taco bell, and was running from a serial killer, and my ass exploded, i would want that to happen every time someone was trying to kill me. in conclusion, beetle had taco bell. case closed.
Nogla and Brian: Arguing for twenty minutes straight over whether evolution is a theory Also Nogla and Brian: Why would you think we wouldn't be friends in ten years?
I thought that moment was really nice to see lol. They clearly love each other like brothers. Despite the fact they were arguing about something so personal and could've easily gotten really heated moments before, it isn't even a question to Brian whether or not he'll still be friends with Nogla 10 years into the future. Hell, before then he was talking about how Nogla would talk to him at his grave if he went first.
It's the best kind of friendship. Just the other day me and my cousin had a similar argument. We even yelled and finished it by going to different rooms. But when I heard sounds from the corridor, I asked her: "What? Are you leaving? For real?" And she said: "Are you nuts? I'm just going to a bathroom. Why tf would I leave?" The best kind of friendship, I'm telling ya.
They clearly care about eachother, they just love arguing. I mean shit Brian has been making fun of Nogla for about 10 years now and he only just somewhat seems to respect Nogla a bit, but that’s probably because he’s paying him now
if you people think having debates where you strongly disagree with your friends on someting would result in a ruined friendship later down the line then youre just ruining your own social life lmfao unreal how sensitive people are becoming that discussions with disagreements are supposed to hint at an unstable or cracking friendship in any way shape or form 💀
gotta say, awesome to see chilled pop up and cool to see youve known him for that long. wouldnt mind seeing you play some other games with him too, perhaps with brian as well, i dont think ive seen them interact that much and after hearing brian say how nice he thinks chilled is i think it would be nice
10:51 The video that struck the religion cord Nogla shot first 11:31 Editor shows how much HE had to endure 12:26 Editors Cute Cat 13:41 They go to the internet (where everything is truth) (Maybe next time Editor can have a stopwatch/sandtimer on something like this) 15:22 They finally think about the editor DID YOU actually skip it? NO! Cause you might've missed some actual CONTENT.
@@FastAF_bibiback then delirious was funny because he was offensive and unpredictable and no one gave a shit cause its for humor purposes but now you cant say funny shit cause someone will get mad lmao
@@redmist6630i honestly dont get how some religious people throw their views on someone already aware of the religious views.. God gave everyone free will they are free to do what they will. I believe that faith is definitely more so a gift rather than life saving water like those in my sect would claim.
@@iiiisssssaaaaaaccccccI mean, depends on what sort teacher he was learning to be. Even if he were, I'd like to believe he's profession enough to not get in the weeds of it. (Of course, I don't really have all that much evidence for that *wink*) That said I'm not god, so I don't know what would have happened.
@@iiiisssssaaaaaaccccccno because he is a zealot, we don’t want those preaching BS to kids. Same things we don’t want ultra-Atheists preaching theirs. Same thing for Muslim extremists and ect. These aren’t good for the future generation secular harmony.
brian and nogla talking about their friendship was wholesome but also they did it in the most irish way possible. like the only really nice thing they said in it was they referred to each other as their bestfriend but they still shit on each other. i love it. brian also saying "nogla is like the fat kid that kids picked last but turns out to be the best pick" really sums up nogla and might be the nicest thing brine's ever said about nogla.
Yes. But I'm pretty sure he never claimed that Christianity was a fact. Just that it was a more sound theory to him. I get where you're coming from, but there is merit to what he's saying, even if I can't agree with it. Though maybe it's because he's one of my favorite RU-vid people so I'm willing to excuse those things. Either way I think people are overreacting.
Both sides tend not to know much about the other, but the religious folk tend to be way more combative about it. Then you can't just help but do what Brain does and roll your eyes until their done with their long winded rant responding to one sentence.
@@dudebruh8534He could easily reflected back the arguments nogla said because he knows that he was kinda desperate but didn’t because it would go on another long rant.
35:00 I find it funny how Louie specifically went for the word “Mate” as in he’s an actual monkey and knows what he’s talking about when it comes to attracting females in the wild 😂
Beautiful kitten Editor! The amazing timing on that picture made me laugh so hard. The argument fading out and the purity of the kitten was a beautiful masterpiece. Love it! Keep up the great work. U too Brian and Nogla! ❤
I was going to ask at first if they would argue over anything besides Jesus but then I remembered that they are an old married Irish couple so they would argue over whether or not they argue that often.
27:18 this is that moment where you switch from hanging out with friend group A to friend group B and forget to switch to the friend group B personality. Also, I will say, I only started watching ChilledChaos as of recent year or two, but man he sounds so much different back then in this clip... I mean, he absolutely sounds like that friend group's version of Moo with that voice and response.
I'd actually like to hear the entire discussion Regardless of who you side with more, it's always nice to hear multiple perspectives and hopefully learn stuff from it :)
5:38 i love that nogla highlighted one of the poeple that isnt a pedo, like if you read the third persons full thing its clearly not map=pedo but map=a visual of an area
Oh my God. Hearing SeaNanners' laugh sent me back in time like that critic at the end of Ratatouille. Words cannot describe how much I miss him. He would've made some incredible Lethal Company videos. (He's not dead, BTW. He just doesn't upload on his channel anymore.)
I think why you and Brian make good friends is because you can comfortably make fun of each other without holding back and you both actually find it funny instead of getting upset about it
11:56 typical when it comes to historical figures we can look at author writings. We know Julius Caesar is a real person simply because he has been documented. We also know there was a man who lived named Jesus due to multiple non religious texts mentioning a man named Jesus. History is simply a puzzle you need to put all the pieces together. For example you can use the bible to cross reference with other literature to find whether something is true or not. This is how we know a man named Jesus round biblical times is real. There are of course other types of reliable sources but are sparse. This will probably get buried so heil brine
@@StarboyXL9Why do you think like that? I genuinely want to know. How is a random man, then a woman appearing out of nowhere in a fairytale garden is more believable than emergence of complex life over years of evolution through adaption to environmental stimulus?
I really like that you guys keep the controversial conversations in the videos. Most are afraid to keep those in but I think it’s good for people to see two buddies talk about opposing views, teasing or not, and walk away still being chill.
14:54 Interesting article I read recently is the actual translation of the creation story in Genesis is saying taken from Adam's side not a rib. It's meant to imply that men are not whole without women. Man and woman together make a whole object. So anyone who views Adam and Eve with some sort of sexism, woman isn't made from man. She's the other half of man. And man is the other half of woman.
