We have no regrets. It is a well thought out layout. We did add additions to the setup that worked best for us and have a few new things we are looking at for our second year of use. Would buy again.

Hi Zeke, Apologize for delay in response. We find that the bench seat is comfortable. One thing to take into consideration is height of folks using camper van. We ordered the 4 inch depth for extra padding for sleeping. This does decrease head clearance for sitting by 1 inch over the standard 3 inch cushions that come with the conversion kit. Kay

We had it sent to us. Very quick shipment and delivery time was much shorter than I expected. Very easy install of the kit after we had removed the stow away third row seat from our minivan.

Do I need to completely remove the rear seats or can I leave them in?

You can leave them in. We removed ours because we wanted that space for storage which is accessed from a wood panel on the sink side.

I also was curios as to why it cost the same in US dollars as in Canadian dollars?

Hi Charles, We looked at Vanpackers, Roadloft, Freeway Camper and River Leaf camper kits. Our final decision to purchase Vanpackers was based on the following: 1. Kitchen design and layout. Everything was pull out/push in without having to put together kitchen at site. 2. Interior layout: A. We keep kit in van at all times. When not using for camping, we stack the two front cubes on top of the back bench cube. This allows use of front stow and go seats. B. Set up of two bench seats that gives feel of a real living space. No need to shove cushions away when not set up as bed. We have made additions and modifications to fit the way we want to camp. Another video to come this month on some of those changes!!!

Should have expanded response on mpg. It is around 25 mpg city driving and 30 mpg freeway.

Yes, the mpg is what we have experienced. The fuel tank capacity is 20 gallons and cost to fill would be based on current gas prices at time of refueling.
