Great series of videos on this RTR. Thanks. I realize those of us into the hobby usually mod rigs so an out of the box rig isn’t that big of deal. BUT beginners will absolutely love this thing! When I started into this hobby along with a few others locally the RTRs were pretty crappy. Nothing worse than spending money on a stock rig and immediately having to buy aftermarket parts because the stock parts are subpar 😢. I have been sharing this series with friends that thinking about getting their first crawler. So thanks again sir and get better
Hey thanks man 🙏🏼 your exactly right though, beginners will love this RTR I started on the Redcat Everest 10. And then bought the Redcat Gen 7 pro. If I would have had this option…it’s definitely worth the extra!
Honestly, really like the voiceover. Your narration seems smoother. Likely from you being able to reflect on the run with more time in between. Seriously, it’s kinda cool.
Dude you’re pulling off some astounding obstacles with this rig. Just wow. Maybe I need to stop with my project truck and just save up for one of these 😂. Get well soon my man, being sick stinks!!
Still love the video not every one is gonna be perfect but again that why I love your channel filming myself now I see how easy it is to erase stuff without thinking about it for a sec but nope no edits really let’s let it run love it it’s not easy filming and driving I’ve been getting some shots of my vrd carbon and posted it but the wide angle doesn’t do justice so I gotta get better so I can use the regular lenses lol 🎉great video love following and supporting everyone I can we have a small but huge community and it’s amazing love it 🎉maybe one day I can make awsome content and people will appreciate it to who knows lol
Haha yeah the wide angle doesn’t quite to the scale justice. That’s how I started tho, it’s funny now I always drive 1 handed. Even if I’m not filming haha. That was a weird realization the other day when someone pointed it out
@@HobbyDropWill be in Kanab for our 35th wedding anniversary and will be stopping by St George SkyRc and Morty's and little crawling. Stay safe my friend and dry
Haha this thing is sick, but I am a budget builder and so the Redcat still fits. BUT Super grateful I had the chance to drive this and it does kinda make me question 😂
Dude first time my friend and I took ours out, we both pretzeled a rear lower link! I wouldn’t have even noticed if he hadn’t called me freaking out out! I tried to get Josh’s attention during a vanguish live stream on Tuesday and you could tell he was reading my comments but just ignoring them! Kinda pissed me off! Any how I ended up ordering the link kit for the carbon and hopefully won’t have this problem any more. I just feel vanguish could’ve done something cause I know we can’t be the only victims of this. It was under normal use! Just be aware that after the $500 u still have to swap few things including the servo. I won’t deny it performed incredibly well..out performed every rig there including $2k comp rigs! It should be a best when I’m done with it
What a pity with that mic... Next time you could use some very low background instrumental music in order to fill a little the void when you're not talking. Tip: If you keep talking all along the video over the low music you are not going to have any problems to monetize your videos.
@@HobbyDrop Yes, but you must keep talking with very short pauses in order to "the algorithm" cannot recognize the music mixed with your voice. You and your audience cannot recognize too but it feels more comfortable to see. Most people can see a video with low resolution but good audio, but, if the audio is bad, it feels uncomfortable and they left soon.
