Good content. Only thing that got me is Leon saying this is Ave's 2nd shoe with Vans...To my recollection this is at the very least his 6th or 7th shoe with vans. I remember regretting not getting the AV4. Then one or two models later they came out with the AVE. All his models before that were pretty basic and minimalist shoes up until his last model.
@ClckdyClck yeah I remember a few weren't even his actual designs. Remember he just took a sk8 hi, cut it down, and slapped his name in front of it? AVE sk8 low was the name or something.
That Off-white cream color with the black and neon yellow is hard af tho! I skate in Vans A.V.E PRO in forest green and they fit perfectly 👌 must cop/skate
@@richyriches uhh there’s so many. Av3 , ave era av6 ave rapid weld . I’d have to do a deep dive to find all of him, he started with 2 pro models right after he got on and that 2005-6.
Looks amazing, but when I tried them on it was so difficult to get the shoe on my foot and pressing a lot. Even when I tried one size up. Wearing vans in the past 8 years.
I love the way this shoe looks. I hate how all Vans look the same. Only thing I don't understand is you said it has an extra layer of suede for the first few laces for lace protection and yet I see all the laces fully exposed and not protected.
There is rumors the knit is only "limited edition". Any word on this? I think as Van's always almost do, they would miss the "boat" if they don't continue to produce this shoe...
@@desepairnei screw Nike today, Dunks are trash today, cheapest leather… all the early 2000s dunks were half suede for a reason. These companies are playing us brother
the regular version of this shoe is on sale at shops everywhere. nike tried this knit top years ago and it didn't really work,. Price point is too high for the quality you get from vans.
@@elbogran well fast times is an Australian skate shop. So the price is $300 AUD. Vans official website would show $130 USD but that equals to roughly $200 AUD and you’d have to pay for international shipping which would be around $100 AUD for a pair of shoes. But if you’re in Australia the American website will automatically direct you to the Australian website anyway. So that’s why the shoes are $300 on fast times
My feet hurt just from looking at this narrow/pointy toebox (1:14). How is any normal, healthy athlete´s foot supposed to function properly when forced into that shape? Same for Rowan, Zahba @vans
C'mon, these do not look sick. They look functional. But look like grandpa's cardigan. I Like flexible and board feel but I've given up on vans overpriced shoes
Vfc in general is just Nike leftovers - they trade designers back and forth constantly. If you’ve worked at Nike you’re probably at VFC now and vice versa.
vans that dont look like poo.... im shocked. "no vans no supra no reebok or fila....man them muthaf*&#s look stupid" Alim quote- razor diet hiphop album
Oh cool! A knitA didas NMD style skate shoe. This style has only been overdone and outdated since before Covid. These look terrible and AVE obviously has zero right to design shoes. Look like Sketchers
My only issue with Vans. Is that they are not longer a Skater shoe. Every soccer Mom, trendy hipster, socialite etc wears a pair in one form or another. Is nothing sacred? Keep skateboarding culture going! Its getting so washed out.
