Vans Lane Railroad Crossing, New Sarpy, LA 

This was the only railroad crossing I recorded on November 11, 2023. At the time, I headed down to New Orleans, Louisiana as part of my mom's work trip that I tagged along, making this a (somewhat) free railroad trip to do. On the first day, I decided to head to the CN Baton Rouge Subdivision. Progress went good, until I got to New Sarpy. I heard a freight coming down slowly, and decided to record Vans Lane. Also, before I recorded this crossing, I occasionally zig-zag through this line and the CPKC New Orleans Subdivision too that day.
