Given the size of the sections on tap, our competitors opted for the former, which unfortunately left a significant number of surfers rummaging for ice packs on the sidelines.

Love this … and the easy informal judging/ contest structure is a completely new space that kinda simulate free surfing pushing the limit of expression and maneuvers … keep it up stab 🤙🏽

Amazing surfing. However, and as an old timer, I find airs to be trite these days. I'd rather see a deep, clean barrel or even a beautifully tapered wall with carving turns or a smooth longboard line drawn. But I'm old. YMMV.

Anyone else think this is a stupid ego maniac run event? 6 injured trying to go big for what, a good score and an ego boost, the guys running this are so cold and look kinda zombiesh, surfed out burned out running the show here, what's with these young girls, why not have women the same age surfing?
