OMG!! I remember that LIAR!!! Thank God for your dash cam, Josh. Great video as well, showcasing the amount of wire there is for the rear cam. Cool truck by the way. One doesn't realize when you have a family, how important a utility vehicle is.
I had to do that for my 2 cameras and sometimes CB radio. LOL Many years ago, I made my own 3-way, but the sockets just got nasty, so I bought a really nice one with on/off switches and LEDs. These are a must.
I think my suggestion to them would be to instead of giving us a brick with a hard wired port. Give us a brick with open ports and a cable like they did for the back dash cam. That way we could swap out the cable if we wanted. It would be nice to see how you upgraded that dash cam. I am assuming it’s easy enough by uploading there .bin file to the card and inserting. Also something showing their app. I have VIOFO cam now that works well, and their app gives tons of features.
Yup. In this video, you see me post a screenshot of their website. The 2nd line says how to do it, and it says to download the file and place it on the root of the sd card and the dash cam automatically starts updating. It all happened so fast i didn’t get a chance to get it on video.
Does this camera record non stop from when you start the car to when you turn it off?. Or does it only record clips in time so you can loose possible close calls or worse?
