I work for a shop here in the states, and disposables are a huge part of our market, and it bums me out so much. I have some of my newer clients come in and are amazed by a simple RDA. I'm glad to see the industry still doing well, but I miss when the good stuff was more readily available.

Even tho it was mostly disposables… I’m still envious… We cant even have vape expos in my area of the US… Had a big one in Philly in 2010/11 . Was fun but not very big. I just miss hanging with vapers , vaping and talking vape in the vape shops even . I can’t travel to other states if they had expos.. I just miss the good ole days of vaping. i work in a vape store in oz and i have to say it does suck when someone comes in and would rather blow their money on something that will last a few days instead of investing in a quality device that will last months if not years. love the vids mate keep em up

It's kinda the same way in the U.S. with the disposables. I'm in northeast ohio, and some shops try their best to keep some rebuildables on the shelves but it's hard for them because I guess it doesn't really sell. I have never even met anyone in real life who uses rebuildables like me. Most everything I'm interested in is only available online with shipping. Luckily there are some really good sites that keep it stocked with awesome stuff.

Good Morning. Here in Germany the same. Hall of Vape 2022 Expo. Overall Disposables. That's definitiv the wrong way in Germany. Because of the New Political Tax, will the steam die out in Germany. All steamers are currently stocking up on base and liquid. 1 liter base costs from this July over 220 euros. This is madness, what is the policy thinking. The steamer throw to the cigarette or even this Bad Disposables fall back. Best Regards Mike from Germany

Couldn't agree more Sam, I arrived at 10, grabbed some Rebel Bogan juice and checked out Suicide Mods/Steamcrave, and was home in time for the F1 (and it's a a 90 minute drive!) Very disappointing for the hobby vapers who are most likely to come to this kind of gig. I hope you had a better time in Dubai 👊

I had tickets for the sat and sun but gave up after about 3 hours on the Saturday not only was it just disposables everywhere the vape expo themselves didn't seem to put any effort in they used to make it an event it was basically a market

you should have visited the Hall of Vape, there were Disposables too, but they kept up quite a balance between the stuff....

Great Video Sam. Shame with the dispo’s at expo, but it’s a reflection of the UK Market at the minute. So many people went back to cigs during lockdown and dispo’s are the easy option back from smoking, hopefully it’ll keep going and the new kit releases will give a rebirth the to hobbiest

Been vaping since 2006 and I remember refreshing web pages to get hold of limited run genesis mods. Burning my lungs to shit making mad coils and always tweaking builds. They were the golden days of vaping. Now, like everything else, it's all throw away.

I was talking to one of our vape shop owners where I live and he was saying his disposables out sell all other products. He started off with one corner and now he has a whole wall full of disposables. He doesn't like it but he said that's where the market is currently headed.

That's the problem with the uk and vape nowadays it's all disposables not many shops left near me sell rebuildables

Kinda sucks that rebuildable mods aren't in the scene now. Same goes here in the philippines all the mechanical mods are almost phase out or just pre-ordered they have been replaced by disposable mods There aren't much art on making new mods today

Extracting money for pods so you still spend as much as the cigs. That was the plan with pods.

Such a shame to travel so far, only to find 90% disposable. Don't get me wrong - there is a time and a place for disposable vape, they're convenient and enjoyable. But at an expo? Sad times when disposable takes over...

I will never understand disposables just buy a pod system hell it’s cheaper in the long run

The predicament of disposables taking over the market is purely because they are superior in flavour and performance over refillable pods. Whatever China is putting in those disposables, it is not publicly available. I believe they are using proprietary concentrates that are not being used in bottled e-juice. The manufacturers need to find a way to reproduce the intense flavour of the juices in disposables and make them commercially available. They also need to design refillables that are as smooth and flavourful as disposables. Lower the wattage, increase the ohms. Most of the refillables out there are too powerful for 50 mg nic salt which is the sweet spot for nicotine dosing on a small device. I am a 13 year vaper and all my refillable pods and MTL tanks are collecting dust because nothing compares to Igets, Gunnpods and other disposables for flavour. Sometimes I even struggle to reach for my Falcon King or Blotto Max. I am forcing myself to sub-ohm but the disposables are calling me all the time. They are very addictive.

Glad a passed this year looking at people's comments on it and thus just shows how bad it really was. Expo need to remember that people getting off the stinkies won't be at expos. It majority of hobbyists that go to them so disposables are a waste of time there. Also did you notice the amount of disposables that were above 20mg? That's illegal in the UK and they were selling heeps apparently

Also in malaysia , vape fest full of junks disposable. Boring . Only 1 booth that have rebuildable stuff other than that just a stupid dispo junks.
