TLDR; wrote a rant about how if this dream becomes reality people would just want more and eventually the magic of wishing this goes away It’s sad because it isn’t real, you can only ever imagine about it. Write it, hell, even make a production about it, but we all know it isn’t actually real, and it won’t be at least anytime _soon._ Maybe way far in the future, but for now, wishing is the best we can do. And honestly it’s probably one of the best feelings, because once we’re used to it what we got we’ll want more. But just imagine you’re that one special person who has a secret alien friend. That would be a life to live huh? I don’t know why I wrote an entire pointless rant but I guess I just really want that reality to happen. lol, need to express my ideas more, or else I type rants like these 😪
This video takes place 6/7 years after the main series events, Zim realized that he wasn't an Invader and that the tallests didn't care about him, so he stopped fighting Dib in his mission to conquer Urth (it is well written, nothing to say here) and they actually became friends, now that Dib was 18/19, he got a car license and a car itself, and together with Zim, Gaz (who didn't mind going with them since Dib was now much more calm after Zim became his friend and would not punish them as long as they didn't disrupt her from her gaming hobbies) and GIR, whom Zim learned to love as an actual pet And if you ask me where is Minimoose, he's just taking care of the base together with the computer while Zim and Gir are gone
I want some kind of series or long fanfic or something where Zim learns he's not an invader, he was never an invader, the Tallest just want him gone and he isn't welcome back. In turn, he gives up trying to conquer and sets out to explore instead. He still vocalizes wanting to conquer Urth, but doesn't act like it any more. He goes through some depression, but finds his true heart in seeing the world with Dib, Gaz and Grr. (And maybe Tak? If it could be written in a way that worked)
Dib says to zim that there are creatures who existence are a mystery and zim decides to hunt down the paranormal monsters just to show dib that he is superior

It took me sooo long to realize that the characters in the video are from invader Zim.... 😶😐 I'm an idiot... I wondered for so long why one of them was greenish! 😅

I feel the exact same way.. I missed so much. I missed all the invader cons just because I wasn’t born earlier so when invader cons were a thing I was 4 years old. I want to cry, I know it’s pathetic but I feel as if I’m lost in the future wanting to live in the past. Or in a world that doesn’t exist. I love invader zim I just feel so distant from it all.
I love how gaz is just chilling in the back with gir probably eating some snacks playing on her game slave thats such a mood especially the background.
This is wholesome. Just a couple of friends listening to music while driving to hunt for... some crazy stuff, like paranormal activities. Glad there isn’t anything inappropriate.
Yo. You could start a real paranormal hunting group in your locality. I mean, Corona is a thing right now, but still. You could have zoom chats, and update your fellow mates on your progress, and what new things you have discovered.

This is too beautiful for me to the point that I sometimes can't bring myself to click on this video, because I feel like I will start crying a little. Idk, it brings me to such a safe and happy place. I am currently going through something difficult, there is a lot of self loathing, but I feel like I will get through it. I love this animation so much.
@@rebeccamacegan1094 Hi sry for not knowing of your comment until now. It did get better, I am doing better than last year. I still have some sort of trauma from that period of time I was talking about in this old comment, just smth I need to overcome, but things are better.

Am I the only person who actually cried watching this lol? :') I can totally to both Dib and Zim for different reasons. Honestly I find it hard to make friends so weirdly enough I find the characters in Invader Zim as...friends I guess? I always wish I had an alien friend as a kid so maybe that's another reason why I love Invader Zim lol ^^
invader zim ended more than 20 years ago but we remain hopeful, since the film released in 2019 we keep hoping, amazing as it was just a silly cartoon at the time but the fandom turned it into a wonderful thing... a more serious version of the show that worked with that style of adventure for them
I really like this! The music and the art, it's beautiful :) Also, I like this idea of Dib, Zim, Gaz and Gir becoming a Paranormal Investigation Team :3
Makes me think of a slight au idea that during enter the florpus dib doesn’t bring up the details of his dads technology during his little event so zim doesn’t get the idea to teleport earth. Instead the whole world manages to STILL not believe dib like membrane did throughout the whole movie despite the fact a not disguised zim it showing off his alien stuff and everything, mostly due to his lack of enthusiasm over his life being a lie. So dib sets off to the country side to find more evidence, for someone *anyone* to believe them, hoping zim will get out of his funk enough to be believable as an evil alien but not enough to be a threat. Zim does cheer up and even gains an sort of enthusiasm for this new life quest while he and dib begin to legit enjoy each others company while never admitting it. Gaz tags along because alien tach has some killer good wifi.
Let’s analyze the art! GIR looks the calmest he’ll ever be. I like how Zim sits with half his body outside the car like it’s normal. Dib having a satellite dish on his car is *v e r y* canon. Gaz brought her tablet… like a Minecraft obsessed 5 year old. The sky is purple, I’m sure to set the mood but it kinda makes you want to imagine it with a red sky. Dib looks pretty focused, and older, and ok with Zim being around. It seems they might’ve became friends. The hills in the background move by more quickly than you would expect from someone who isn’t speeding… All of the Windows are rolled down… Uh that’s it, I just decided to take apart all the details for fun. It’s a very relaxing playlist and fun to make fake scenarios to.
Holy shit. I just rediscovered this from about a year ago. I remember during quarantine I would play this late at night while drawing or scrolling through my phone. Not only does this song have a nostolgic feel, I actually kinda have some nostolgia for it now. It kept me going. Good job.
I'm very late to this, but I completely adore this! the music is calming as hell, the way you draw the characters is super cool, the gif is just wonderful, and little GIR sleeping with his head out of the window just made my heart melt!

Zim and gaz look so bored but I mean it’s so pretty and somewhat fits their personality and dib looks somewhat mad like he’s bout to say or said like five minutes ago “don’t make me turn this car around!”

It's been years since this was first posted, but I adore this so much. I study to this, read to this, write to this. It's seen me through more rough times than I can count and been with me during some of the happiest moments of my life. I love this soundtrack so much and am so glad you made it. The animations are stunning. The work you have done here touched a life. I just wanted to let you know that.

Somehow, I always find myself coming back to this playlist. It's been years, and still this playlist has been a much greater comfort than anything I could wish for. Your art, the music, everything is perfect. It's like a weighted blanket with just enough weight, or having a cat lay on you when you have a moment to just be there. This is my only constant feeling of home and safety and I love this so much. Thank you for being here and creating the edited versions of songs that you do.
