@@TheCloudhopper Agreed, Im hoping they bring some kind of basic Electronic warfare payloads to the A-6 when it comes out and from there its a pretty short jump from the Hornet we have now, to a growler (from a module design standpoint)

Oh, and the growler is based directly on the Super hornet airframe, and the EA-6 series is "a completely different airframe" than the A-6 in the same way the F-16I is completely different than the F-16C. These Hornets are "Growlers" and them pods, are part of what allow them to Jam Radars.
