I noticed the cranes when I went by on the tourist bus.

Every time I get a key room I get an extra key made downtown and leave it with Kawama.

Hi Gord. It's a mystery why they weren't open except going in other directions. 15 Varadero hotels are closed due to a lack of tourism. At least the buffet line ups aren't as long and you can go to the end of the peninsula and get off the bus and back on again. It used to be that at the end of the peninsula if you got off the bus, afterwards the bus would pass you trying to get back on because they were already full. But

No. They have sometimes had it for sale but not recently. People that want it buy a case for themselves and keep it in their fridge.

I got lots of sunshine last December but it was often windy on the beach so tourists would move to the pool then.

Thankyou. I just put a new one on. Got home a week ago. Depends where you're flying out of what a resort costs. I'm going March 14 out of London and I see it's $785 at the moment. I'm a backpacker, camper sort of person so I put up with lower standards than most. If you want 5 star, pay 5 star. If you go there and have problems with your room I suggest you drop my name and perhaps they may listen to you.
